    How Would You Feel If...

No, it is not saying it was not good enough. It is asking if the chemistry would be the same or better or worse. If the performers can stand up to those who came before them. Geeze, it's just an idea to think about people.

It's not like it is actually being done. It's just an interesting thought.

NFFC Big plans announced for the Muppet gang

Sesame characters are not needed if they do not present it as a 50th anniversary though. If they just do a orast to honor the frog, that's very different. You don't need to go down the Sesame Road as much as if they did a retrospective. Personally, if they are doing a roast, Oscar should be...

    How Would You Feel If...

Actually I thought of something like this too. I for one would like to see this, but then again I would not like to see this. It's weird. It would be interesting to see how they would do it, but then again I don't want them to redo it. I would like to hear Steve try his hand at Rainbow...

NFFC Big plans announced for the Muppet gang

Yeah, they could just do a roast for Kermit's birthday without doing a retrospective. I mean, what really happened in the last 20 years that needs to be added besides stuff that's sad?

    Statler & Waldorf on movies.com

Yes, thank God Dave is there to play the character that almost never talks. lol That really does stink when you think about it. Steve and Dave are there to play Lips and Zoot and yet niether characters talk or sing usually. How ironic.

NFFC Big plans announced for the Muppet gang

Probably. It probably meant that in 1999 though when they were first sold. I'm sure if Disney asked SW would allowed Big Bird or Grover to show up on a special. Old Kermit skits still show up on Sesame Street and I bet Disnye oculd have them yanked if they wanted.

    Statler & Waldorf on movies.com

Well ANY performace of an old character by a new performer will be off. It's just life. It will never seem perfect because it will never be perfect. You just have to accept the chages or never waytch anything new.

    Sesame Street pictures from SDCC

Fall release for 2005. So September idealy, but most likely November. Super Grove is available now through the Palsiades Collectors Club though and will be all year long pretty much. These figures are for ages 8 and up. If your daughter is not 8 and up, watch her and makje sure she stays...

    Sesame Street pictures from SDCC

Short story is that it will be available for purchase. long story is this: The set pieces were originally meant to be split into 4 sections and come with the four figures so that you, the consumer, could assemble them at home. Series one would be Big Bird's doors. Series 2 was to consit of...

Jim Henson with Kermit custom figure

Now that is an interesting idea. Using the mini Kermit was a good idea. The idea of a puppet using a puppet is really interesting as well. Kind of like the creation taking over the creator kind of thing going on.

    Sesame Street pictures from SDCC

Super Grover is cuurently on sale and worth the money. You can buy him in the Palsiades Collectors Club. It's an awsome figure, though one of his legs tends to warp which is not good. Series one is suppose to be out this fall. they were originally planned for September, but I would bet it...

NFFC Big plans announced for the Muppet gang

The Roast idea is really good. they already did the heart felt honoring thing for 30 years. A nice funny roast will be cool. I doubt Oscar or any Sesame Street muppet will make it over. I actually wonder what Disney will cover for the 50th since like half of Kermit's history belongs to other...

NFFC Big plans announced for the Muppet gang

Well the thing is Oz was set in place while JHC still owned them. Keep that one in mind. I think it's more of a state of mind than a reality. It just seems right to say the muppets are owned by the JHC. They should be one and the same. Even if Disney does exactly what JHC wants, it won't...

NFFC Big plans announced for the Muppet gang

I think this is interesting news, but tieing the muppets into extreme sports and using them to help pimp the super bowl? I don't know about that. A lot of that stuff has the muppets piggy backing on other stuff. I suppose it is the first step, but still. I just hope we get some good stuff.

Is there anything good about KSY?

There are two real dogs shown in the movie. The first is a lassie looking dog named Rowlf for some reason. No relation to Rowlf the puppet or anything. didn't even look like Rowlf the puppet. In fact I think the dog was a she too, but I'm not sure. Anyway the other real dog also has a...

I thought that part was forced.

    How are these characters operated?

Beaker is operated upright as opposed to bending the wrist. If you wanted to make Kermit talk you would raise you arm up above your head and bend at the wrist so that your finger were parallel with the floor. Beaker is done by doing the same thing minus the wrist bending. Your fingers would...
