Yes, you are right. Piggy is a good example of a character who was done wrong. The long-haired one is a whole lot more acceptable. I thought they did a good job on Zoot, but Janice was too tall and thin. They kind of remind me a bit of the Little Muppet Monsters cartoon.

But they were so spot on as well. These are more like cartoon versions of the Muppets; the textures of the Palisades figures were even like the foam they used on the actual puppets.

What I found interesting is that the second wave was originally supposed to be Bert, the Count, Yip-Yip Martians and Roosevelt Franklin (carrying on with the 2 core, 2 obscure character trend), but this interview and other accounts later had the latter 2 being replaced by Elmo and normal Grover...

I know. This strikes me as odd that they would include a figure like this just to make the Pigs in Space an even four. No one would have minded if they included Link with an actual character. It's like shooting fish in a barrel. I don't think they meant it to be any of those pigs, just a pig.
