Disney deal estimated between $40-60 million

Apparently, the NY Townhouse is still in Henson hands. To my knowledge, it's "for sale" just not "sold". Disney bought character and program rights, not the actual buildings.

Disney deal estimated between $40-60 million

Here's another estimate of $100 million. It might be accurate if it takes into account a share of "future Muppet profits". Or possibly the early estimates were to low. It's only a matter of time before the real figure gets out there.

Disney deal estimated between $40-60 million

Here is the only published estimate I have seen so far alluding to the dollars that may be involved with the deal of Disney buying the Muppet and Bear characters and TV library. Let us know what you think of the estimated sale price. [/size]

    Sesame Street Beanies

The larger Tyco ones originally came out around 1997, so they will probably be pretty tough to find in stores at this point. If someone knows of a place to get them, they will post here and let you know. Good luck in your search. I went and checked my set and I have 27 of them. There are two...

Why isn't there a Sesame Collectibles Guide?

Due to the enormity of Sesame merchandise, it's not really feasible to do a list of everything Sesame at this point in time. Buck-Beaver posted a link to a new Sesame plush web site though that you might want to check out. Some good info is there...

    Sesame Street Beanies

Welcome to Muppet Central. There are basicly two large bean sets. The only difference between them is their size. The original set is made by Tyco as you mentioned. I'm going from memory but I believe it includes 24 regular characters and a few rarer odd variants - like a purple/pink nosed...

The Official Sesame Street 2 Book-And-Record Album

Warner Brothers put out a nice book and record with Sesame Street 2, but in my opinion it pales in comparison to the first Sesame Street book and record put out by Columbia/CBS. The Muppet illustrations in Sesame Street 2 are nice though. I think Bob was left off of Sesame Street 2 due to...
