The production run on 7 was much bigger than series 8. You should be able to get series 7 for quite awhile (even the repaints). Series 8, on the other hand, won't be as easy to track down a few months from now.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did one character set in 2005 and another Wizard of Oz set. Having Oz be in PVC's would let Palisades explore the likenesses without taking up controversial slots in the last year of the line.

Saw this today as well. It's a fantastic Kermit ornament. Kind of a throwback to the ones of the early eighties. It's much better than the Kermit & Piggy ornament from last year.
