Hmmmm. I don't remember the episode where Linda "adopted" Barkley. I just recall they've established him as Linda's dog.
Then again, I do remember an episode where a lady from an animal shelter came to Sesame Street. Hoots told her that Barkley didn't have an owner that he knew of so the...
Yeah, I've noticed that in the Candice Bergen episode that Richard was still performing Piggy when Frank was performing other characters (Ex: :attitude: :o ). That's where I got a bit confused in the Harvey Korman episode. There Frank was performing other characters while Richard was...
I think what you're referring too is that new "Comcast" or something channel that's coming out. I forget what it's called. I think the thread is one of the "stickys." It may be under "Announcments." Hope this info helps.
That's good info, but it really defies logic. It's hard to believe so many people could miss seeing a guy that big. Lol. Poor Snuffy always seemed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I have to agree. That's actually the only time I can remember seeing Mr. Hooper other than books or stuff like that. I would like to have had a chance to see him interact with other characters besides Bert and Ernie.
O.K., I don't think there were any Timelife episodes where he said "Wocka Wocka!" so I'll just have to look for that when later DVD seasons come out.
I did notice his voice sounding a bit different in early episodes, especially in the one with Rita Moreno. On the first season DVD I'm at...
I never really thought of that. But I guess it's possible. I mean Linda signed "Keep Christmas With You" when Bob and the kids were singing, she could enjoy his music that way.
Hmmm. For my local station, it said it was supposed to air on the 5th of September. But that wouldn't make sense because that day's a holiday and they don't air new shows on holidays.
I'm also worried this might be a pledge drive month, so they may do some editing of the new episodes. *sigh*
Well, it's good that they're still playing older skits with Linda. I just wonder why she left the show. Her character was really great and she definately had something going on with Bob.
Well, in response to your question about Lyman. Jim Davis had mentioned in the Garfield 20th Anniversary book that he has been asked about that and there is a list of reason's why he's not around anymore. The most common one: Don't look in Jon's basement. But there was no mention of his...
Hmmm. I'm not sure. I think I started watching around the time Mr. Hooper died. I remember most 80s episodes. My brother was born in 1986 and I remember watching it with him when he was little. I'd say I stopped sometime before the 90s. Though I remember a few shows I've seen in the 90s...
I've seen Barkley recently in the segment with Elmo's trycycle. So I'm hoping Linda's still around to take care of him even though she's not seen on the show anymore.
It seems like Barkley's suffering the same fate as Odie.
(If you remember the old Garfield strips with Jon's friend Lyman...
I guess I'll have to remember not to fall for that one when I see them do something like that with TV shows.
By the way, we kind of got of subject. I asked about the Frank/Richard Miss Piggys and I never really got a response. Everybody just started talking about the entire series box sets...
I've also seen something like that with "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch."
You're saying ebay just puts stuff up like that to rip people off? It would be pretty unlikely that they would have an entire "Muppet Show" box set after they just released the first season.
Yeah, Elmo could have done a specific letter song.
La la la la la la la la, "L" song. La La la la la la la la "L" song. L is for lemon. L is for lime. That's the letter L.
Yeah, if they're going to keep the segment on, they should at least make new ones.
Also, I know Matt's Big Bird is not quite right, but I think I remember one or two JTE segmets where Matt's Big Bird's voice sounded very much like Carroll's. I'm guessing these were probably more recent segments.
