Well, they tend to delete a lot of stuff. Heck, there was one I missed about :p trying to sleep in a thunderstorm where he mentions Olivia and David. I guess it would be a good idea to check with the administrators and see if there's anyway that we can access stuff that's not there anymore.
Hmmm. How did that dancing Statue of Liberty closing go again? That one escapes me since it's been so long? Lol. I'm only kidding. I know that's the one they still play today. Anyway, it was good to see the closing with Barkley at 'You Tube.' Though, I wish somebody would put up the old...
You haven't checked out that site yet? I thought most MCers are pretty familar with You Tube. I mean I'm not putting you down or anything. I'm just kind of surprised. Anyway, just type in www.youtube.com and type "Sesame Street" in the search engine. Unfortunately, I don't know if the...
Well, this isn't really anything new. Actually, Cookie Monster's "Healthy Food" rap came out sometime in the 80s. So for the most part, he's still himself. He just sets some boundaries.
Well, Frank actually didn't participate much on the "Muppets Tonight." Most scenes with his characters were either inserts or dubbed over. Besides, anyone could have performed Mildred. I heat that in the first season of TMS she had been performed by Frank, Richard, Dave and Erin.
Yeah. I don't remember his street scenes, but I definately remember his song. About, the part with spaghetti. I guess they did that to make it rhyme better. I don't think they were implying that it wasn't healthy. Still, I agree that they could have come up with some better ideas there...
Actually, I remember the real sketch that appeared on the show. It seems like Mad TV reversed Ernie and Bert's roles. I'd like to see that one as well.
Thanks for that info, Ziffel. Since the season two disk won't come out until the summer, it would be good to see that clip so I know what I have to look forward too.
Yeah. I was a little surprised when I heard the mention of Sam in that because I didn't think he was on the show at the time. If they could mention long-lost characters around that time, why won't they do it now?
Yeah. I'm guessing you're referring to the Cloris Leechman episode. Timelife never released that one, so for info on that one I just had to rely on "The Muppet Show" book and the guide here. It would be good to see that ep in it's entirety.
I was also interested in hearing that they...
I see what you mean. I saw the clip of "Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson" on You Tube and there Steve's Kermit sounded more like a younger version of Kermit. He's really improved on the voice since then.
Hmmm, Twiddlebugs? There are some other clips that could be shown on there. I haven't seen those in ages.
Well, that one was played on the show this season. That's good news.
That was really good. I especially liked the song "I Love Cash" and the Bert and Ernie scene and of course the running gag with the wrecking ball. I wish they would have shown more inserts like the last one. I also would like to have seen the "Mad Luis." Overall, I enjoyed that.
Yeah. That would make an interesting fan fic. Bill Smith, what he does for a living. After all, as far is I know he wasn't on the show other than in that one sketch, so his true identity is left to the imagination.
Yeah, that's what I hear about Hal Miller too. I guess the writers felt that some actors just weren't cutting it.
Yeah. You'd think they would have at least mentioned Linda when Bob's neice Samara was introduced. I mean the characters in that ep knew her, so they should have understood...
Well, you never know. I'm not sure how long TG will last. Roscoe Orman's not as young as he used to be, so he might not stay with that regular segment. Besides, Big Bird said the letter and the number in the "Little Big Bird" episode and probably in the magic ukelele ep as well. Plus we...
