Poor Bob. Even his girlfriend sided against him. Yeah. That kind of got to me too. As someone posted on that thread, is Gordon going to start renaming everyone now? He might vote to name Big Bird, Yellow Feathery Fellow or to call cookie monster Food Freak. Lol.

    Gabi & Miles

Yeah. I checked Sonia's article on that and apparently I was wrong. Sonia said that her daughter was to be on the show for three years before she was replaced so in "Elmo's Song" from 1992, it probably would have been Gabi Rose Rgan running around the set. What I don't get is why they were...

    Scooby Doo and Sesame Street

Boy if I weren't a Scooby-Doo fan, I'd complain that we were getting way off the topic of "Sesame Street." Lol. I have to agree Linda Cardellini is very attractive. Maybe even more so than Sarah Michelle Gellar. I especially liked her on "Boy Meets World." I agree with you on that one, Bear.

Wow! Thanks, Nanto. I gotta take a look.

    E&B Role Reversal

Hmmmm. I didn't think it was from that early on. But I guess your right. Maybe they should make a new skit where they ephasized Bert's personality more. It would be cool to see something like that.

Hmmm. I hadn't thought about it before but you're right. In fact, I don't think they played that one on the show in recent years either. How could we have overlooked that classic segment? :p :( That's a good point. I wondered about that too. I mean, I think it's obvious Ernie's not too...

    Scooby Doo and Sesame Street

That's a good anology. Though, I have to say that Fred has matured in recent years. He's still kind of a 'straight man,' but he seems to be more fun loving and a bit goofy at times, rather than being always serious like in the earlier eps. I guess you could say the same for Bert. He was kind...

MSNBC: Old School Sesame DVD's not for kids

I think I see what they mean, by 'Not for Kids.' In recent years, they do tend to reach out to younger kids. (Ex. Someone not knowing what a 'button' was, Elmo not knowing how to use the phone) There was more adult humor in the earlier years. I'll take a look at that article and see what...

    E&B Role Reversal

To tell the truth, I didn't think that was the best one anyway. I feel like they could have done more with that like show Ernie with pigeons or dusting paper clips or things like that. Just my opinion.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 37

I know what you mean. I checked the pbs website and it seems that where I live, they're starting all over again from the beginning. At least that's what they're doing with the afternoon episodes. I'll have to keep checking to see where they are with the morning eps. I got the "Ask Oscar" one...

<<1. Grover popping Ernie's balloons. And that's one of the rare times those two were together. >> I want to comment on that one, since we previously had a thread about Grover's first sketch. I honestly thing that one might have been filmed before his "Whistle a Happy Tune" song, considering...

Casting for "A Sesame Street Christmas Carol" DVD

Actually, that was sort of already done in "Elmo's World: Happy Holidays." I can't really comment on "A Special Sesame Street Christmas" because I haven't seen that one. I see what you're saying though, especially considering the Muppets did "A Christmas Carol" a while back.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 37

Yeah. I saw that one for the first time last Monday. Then I'll get the "Ask Oscar" episode on Friday. (I only saw the street scene of that one) I'm hoping my station will soon start playing the ones I didn't see, so I can get caught up. I didn't see, the "Frank Oz" tag on the toaster...

Sesame Street classic clips on YouTube

Hey, I'm sorry if I sounded a little selfish in my last post. It's just that my dad was driving me crazy. Anyway, what I was saying, is that there might be fans of the show who might not by the DVD, so I believe that putting pieces of early episodes on 'You Tube' is a pretty good idea.

Sesame Street classic clips on YouTube

I don't know. I might not buy the set. I might be uncomfortable going into a store and have people see me buy a "Sesame Street" disk. Plus, I'm still stuck with my parents. They might not want to see that lying around. Heck, my dad is following me around even as we speak and I can't watch...

Lack of charachters in the early 1980's

I'd really like to see that one. I did read about it on Muppet Wiki, but they didn't say too much about it other than it was to explain "some," "none," and "all." That would be a good one for 'You Tube.'
