Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 41

Yeah. I noticed that, but I can comment on 'Dirtballs' now since I've seen it for the first time today. Overall, I thought that was a good episode. Oscar plots are always good because it's a twist from the usual plot. Sort of like in animation and in movies when the villian tries to wreck...

    Baby Natasha

I've been doing some research on that too. My sister actually just had a baby named Natasha. I believe I read it was in season 17 or 18. I'm not exactly sure when here debut episode was though.

Why people dislike modern Sesame Street

Those are good thoughts, but I doubt it. If these problems could have been solved by magic, those stories show wouldn't really have had much of a plot. After all, Mumford was around back then and you didn't see him doing tricks like that.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 41

Well, that's something to look forward to. Unfortunately, the new eps where I live air at 1pm and I should be on the road to Ohio, by that point. I'll have to look for that next time they air that episode.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 41

Oh. That was a reference Chicago Cub reporter! I just got that.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 41

Hmmmmm No comments on "Fairy Tale Science Theater?" I realize that wasn't the greatest episode. But it had it's moments. It's always nice to see Telly as the "Monster on the Spot," though he wasn't in costume this time. Plus you can't go wrong with the Big Bad Wolf. Still not a lot of new...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 41

Yeah. I liked the Super Grover segment. I thought the street story was really good too. It was nice that they referenced both 'A Cookie is a Sometime Food' and the public's concern about him becoming 'Veggie Monster.'

    The Sesame Street baseball team

Hmmmm. I could see the Count as an umpire. He'd enjoy counting balls and strikes.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 41

I thought I'd be the first to comment on the SuperFoods episode. I thought it was pretty good. It's always nice to see Grover/Super Grover in a street scene, though it would be nice to put Super Grover 2.0 on the street rather than just in that particular segment. I was a bit fooled because...

    Muppets on Family Guy

Yeah. It's probably a reference to the opening credits of TMS with all that crazy stuff happening whenever Gonzo blows the trumpet. I don't know if I want to purchase that one though. I may wait until they air that on TV, but that is something to look forward too.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 41

I agree. It seems like you already said everything I was going to say. I especially liked that they had the "Singing in the Shower" song. That may have been a reference to Olivia considering the actress passed away last year. I recall that was one of her most famous songs.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 41

Awwww. I missed a new Super Grover 2.0. I only watched up to Abby's Flying Fairy School. I guess that will teach me to go to the gym in the morning. Lol. I did like the street scene. Nice to see Susan's annual appearance. I'm pretty sure that was her this time. Plus it seems like...

    Rosita's voice

I thought that was an interesting theory about Cullen since he's also the voice of Eeyore on 'Winnie-the-Pooh,' but someone else is doing the voice for the upcoming movie. The same is true with a lot of characters. I guess Disney is aware of this concept and is trying out some new VAs, sort of...

    Doritos Monster

Okay. Something's wrong here. I'm not getting a video. All I'm getting is the "Crash the Superbowl" logo.

    Rosita's voice

Since we're talking about animation here, one thing I've noticed that's interesting is Frank Welker voicing Fred Jones of 'Scooby-Doo' fame. I saw him in the Elvis movie "The Trouble with Girls" and noticed his real voice sounded exactly like Freddy's. But then they did a behind the scenes...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 41

That's okay. They replayed that episode this morning, so I was able to see that segment. I thought it was really good. Very reminiscent of the old 'Ask Oscar' days. I might need to watch the repeat episodes more often and see whatelse they're hiding.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 41

Thanks for the info, Oscarfan. I guess that's the trouble with having so many 'reruns' this season. You don't think there will be anything new there, but sometimes they throw a curveball. I think I missed the 'Price' episode this morning. I'll have to watch for the next time it airs.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 41

Yeah. I was going to ask about that one. I wasn't sure if that was new to this season or not. I thought that sounded like Frank as Bert, but Eric is so good it's sometimes hard to tell. Plus Frank does still perform once or twice per season. I was wondering about that. I missed the...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 41

Oh, okay. I guess they didn't count Big Bird's brief cameo in that episode as part of his 'four episodes' this season. I know someone mentioned that there was a lack of Oscar this season. (I'm too lazy to go back through the threads and read the post again.) I agree, it seems like Big...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 41

I noticed Big Bird's appearance there, but by 'Birdberry,' I think he meant his cell-phone. (Blackberry reference, remember Oscar has a 'Blechberry.') Well, that was four episodes for our yellow feathery friend, I guess now he's going to be away for a while, probably going to vacation in the...
