Speaking of Tim Hill, does anyone think the upcoming Chipmunks sequel (obviously not directed by him) is going to bomb, narrowly avoid it or not? I have a feeling that the Star Wars movie playing in theaters around that time will take away a lot of its potential audience.
Really?
Now that you mention it, it doesn't seem to surprise me that Feiss would try to ride off the coattails of Pixar and DreamWorks. After all, Cow and Chicken was one of many "raunchy kid's cartoons full of grossout" made to replicate the success of Ren & Stimpy.
Say what you want about the sequels (IMO, they're only watchable up to number 10 since I grew up with the first several and enjoyed them), but even I think that the franchise should've died long ago. Not to mention that when I heard they were making another one coming out sometime this year or...
No kidding. I could be wrong but I think I read somewhere that it was aired on TV in Latin America months before it was released on DVD and iTunes here.
Kinda reminds me of the release schedule for Balto: Wings of Change. Waiting until a few months after much of Europe and Asia has seen it...
Yeah, not to mention the stuff from Lionsgate, Phase 4 Films and other companies flooding Netflix, iTunes and Redbox machines. I've heard some people say that even their children lost interest in those films. Wow.
As for Legends of Oz... the TV Tropes page for animated films in the "Needs More...
Well, I think the reason Lionsgate is milking Alpha and Omega for what its worth is because well... it cost less than the box office gross of Mars Needs Moms, due in no small part to its animation being made in India. The fact that it made about 1.5 times the budget overall (as well as the...
Wow. Just wow.
I've heard of spam, comments from sock-puppet accounts and what have you, but I don't think I've ever heard of something like that.
I'm aware that The Nut Job was a success during the usual early bomb month,, but hopefully Lionsgate ends up with another January bomb like they...
Well, knowing Lionsgate and stuff like this... it's not too surprising that they'd want this on their hands. At least the only time a CGI film of theirs wasn't a gigantic hit was when Happily N'Ever After came out and only had ONE sequel.
Agreed.
As a fan of MLP:FiM, I know for a fact that not every show or movie based on a consumer product sucks. But MLP at least has a world to build, characters to develop and stories to tell.
I suspect that a PEZ movie would use a generic "outcast tries to prove himself worthy of recognition"...
Yeah.
For all we know, he no doubt may very well have scammed the LMW user. I suspect he's also paranoid that other people are out to get him just because "we're haters who don't appreciate his artistic talents and creative genius"... or maybe not.
Well, can't say I'm surprised. I bet this guy is another one of those people who takes criticism as a personal attack.
All things considered, he must think kids are morons with low standards if he put so little effort into actually animating or storytelling and thought that all of this garbage...
I know, right?
Where do I even begin? An unoriginal concept, bland characters, CGI worse than the Money for Nothing video... and a waste of Mark Hamill's talent.
Note that Slater seemed to think he was going to make a big franchise out of this garbage.
You guys are not gonna believe this!
Colin Slater (the director of Rapsittie Street Kids, if you don't know) actually posted the other project featured in his showreel on YouTube...
DINOSAUR ISLAND (2004)
By the way, back to Rapsittie Street Kids... if nobody minds.
I was reading through the comments to see how progress on getting ahold of it has been, and so far there's something else that remains of it!
An album containing music from the special is actually available on Amazon.com.
Sheesh. At the risk of sounding like a coward, this is why I don't talk about whatever films or shows I like or don't like on any site. Just so I don't get dragged into an argument by those drama queens.
Interestingly, Alpha and Omega was one of the few American animated films officially...
Well, I can tell you that I'm far more baffled that a reviled yet lost special like that (and with respectable voice actors, no less) exists than the numerous DTV sequels to The Swan Princess and Alpha and Omega that Richard Rich keeps cranking out.
In all honesty, I'm only interested in seeing...
I know it's been brought up earlier on this forum... but I'd like to draw to your attention that a user on the Lost Media Wiki by the name of FarwayThePokemon has attempted to email about getting a copy of Rapsittie Street Kids: Believe in Santa.
No, seriously! Take a look...
