Your Thoughts: The Muppets' Wizard of Oz

Yeah, she probably should have been, though Poppy's made you sleep which is not really her style. She was a one shot character though with no substance. No real reason to even include her.

Special Edition Movie DVD's coming in November

Apprently Sony/Tri-star partially owns the rights or somehting.

    Should the Muppets retire?

I know. That is why I said it was not totally true and cited those examples. I know that TMS was made for adults first and kids second, I then cited examples where the reverse is true.

Special Edition Movie DVD's coming in November

Rights are tied up with Sony, but even if they weren't I doubt MFS is next on the special edition list.

    Should the Muppets retire?

Happy Feet is all of a sudden this big memorable thing? Since when? It's a fog boucning up and down in a tux. How is that more gewnious than say Kermit on MT sining that song in the giant white suit? I love bit, though I cant for the life of me remember the nname of the song. The tune runs...

    Should the Muppets retire?

Are you saying we don't have a real sense of what entertainment is? Just because most people like one show over another does not mean the show they choose not to watch is not aimed at them. If Family Guiy was up against Law and ORder, I bet a lot of people would choose Family Guy too. Does...

Your Thoughts: The Muppets' Wizard of Oz

What family values have declined. Spamela was far less "over sexed" than Piggy was on TMS. She was a stupid character, like all the new pigs for some reason. The only real difference between Piggy and Spamela is that Spamela wore a bikini. How is this something that destroys family values...

    Statler & Waldorf on movies.com

That could be done, but Bill does both. Either someone else wouldh ave to take over the Chef or there would need to be dubbing.

    Should the Muppets retire?

I duno, maybe it has something to do with you snapping at me because you daddy doesn't understand you. That seems like quite an issue.

The Chef is also done by Bill. Dang, I guess ll the guest stars will be his. It's not a bad thing really, I just would lioke to see more from other characters, especially more like Rowlf who have been silent for a long time.

    Should the Muppets retire?

You have some issues you need to work out. Regis does not do the same thing Leno does. Regis sits and has inane banter with some annoying chick on a Dailey basis. Leno is an actual comedian that does not pander to middle aged house wives. Big big difference.

    Should the Muppets retire?

Dude, you are way to sensative. Obviously if you plam on getting into the business you should be keeping up with children's entertainment. And there is nothing wrong with watching now and then for nostalgia reasons or because you have children. However, if you are an adult and you sit down to...

    Should the Muppets retire?

Not totally true. MTI and MCC were more of a kid movie, but even those can be enjoyed by an adult. KSY however is a true example of what the muppets would be like if they were truly meant for just kids. Unfunny crap. Frankly, a lot of people will tell you that anything cartoon or puppet...

    Statler & Waldorf on movies.com

It might be that only Steve, Dave, and Bill are signed to the feature so only they are working on it. I was surprised Sal was not with Jonny. Sal is ALWAYS with Jonny. Jonny is not as funny without Sal and Sal is not as funny without Jonny. I would like to see Scooter appear. This could...

    Uncle Deadly review

Cool. I'm glad that feature is still there. There was much concern about it. It was meant to be a surprise, but I am surprised they did not mention it on the card anywhere. I guess they REALLY want it to be a surprise. Imagine how freaked you wouldh ave been if you just flipped off the light...

    Uncle Deadly review

I didn't see a mention of a glow in the dark feature. Does the Flash Back Deadly not glow in the darl like was originally annouced?

    Should the Muppets retire?

do you even realize that Steve is PART of the original muppets? he was on at least 2 season of the Muppet show and was in 2 of the original muppet movies and a number of specials. He IS part of what made the muppets good and he still is part of what makes them good. You are basically of the...
