I don't think you can take comments about Kermit and apply them to Gonzo. Gonzo is built differently. He wears a full suit and his head is sculpted which should increase the cahnce of a perfect put pf the box likeness. Most of the issues with KErmit have to do with people not posing the head...
Who said they would be inexperienced? That wasn't in the article. And the animatronic movements are not the same as capturing Jim and Richard on film. They move like animatronic puppets, not live performed ones.
Fact is this is an attraction for people to have fun with, not a movie being...
You can't have the real thing at a theme park. Dave and Steve will never ever become theme park performers, at least not full time. Using their voices is the best you can get and I hope that is the way they go.
If this were a one shot deal or even a week long attraction i can see why...
Fact is no one knows wo will do the voice tracks yet except Disney and until someone here actuallys hears the voices you can't say one way or another. And Kynan is wrong because the article clearly states that there will be no one doing the puppet work. It's some kind of animatronic thing like...
I'm keeping my fingers crossed anyway. Though I doubt they would bring in John Kennedy to do Floyd is Floyd didn't have a significant part. Wonder if they'll do music videos for the disney channel to go with it like they did with that pther CD with Kermit doing Kokomo and ANimal doing Whipe Out.
Makes sense, plus Isner was apprently the guy who wanted the muppets. The new guy hasn't shown much interest at all from the lack of productions.
As for 3d animated movies, there are WAY too many. There use to be like 1 or 2 a year, now there are like 15! It's just crazy. No one else is...
It was asked what the difference between this and the different sesame productions is. Well the difference is that the seame productions for the most part use original characters and dub over other bits. I think Elmo isu sed in a few different shows and I believe China or Japan has their own...
Janice isn't part of every EM song so I'm ok with not having the character on the album. I'm just glad it's mostly the main guys doing the album. Too bad Jerry Nelson won't be doing Floyd though. Would have liked him to perform Floyd again if only one more time, but he does have health issues...
Interesting. I too wonder who will perform Floyd. I hope it is Jerry Nelson. Floyd seems like an easier voice for him to do so I hope it is him. If not I do hope it was by his choice. I'm guessing that Fozzie, Piggy, Animal, and Sam (if on here) will be done by Eric which will be nice...
all flash as in all flashy but nothing really there. Like a car that has a great paint job but no engine. Might be nice to look at once in ahwile, but there really isn't anything there.
Well, I don't think there is any muppet canon. I mean, it's not like you can make a realistic timeline out of any of the productions.
This is another sign that the muppets are being used the same as cartoon charatcers. It's not the same. You can't just hand puppets over to a bunch of...
Now see, your Kermit looks very different from other pictures I have seen, yet it is the esact same product. Very nice head shape you got.
As for tips of my own, I have none. Don't have a Kermit yet. I didn't pre-order one because I wanted to see some final product pics before dropping the...
Yes, I don't think it's an evil thing to say that learning how to position Kermit will make him look better. Proper positioning will make him look like the high end replica he is.
It's nice, but the pupils really throw off the look. It seems that the poser body and head is realy nice and probably perfect to some version of Kermit, but I think people need lessons in posing him. I see squisjhed heads and necks and stuff that should be fixed.
So John Kenedy did Kermit? That's not the long time established performer I was expecting. Seems like they just used a bunch of new guys that never really got big within the Muppets thus were cheaper. Of course I'd have to see some tape to know if it was a good change or not.
