    Rainbow Connection in Yahoo commercial

too bad they had to cut the song for commercial time restraints and couldn't use muppets instead. I guess muppets would not have worked for the commercials purpose.

    Longing for Muppets

I also was only old enough during the Nikelodien rerun time. I wish it was back on so I could see all the scetches I do not remember.

    Kermit Swamp years-dissapointment

If you do not watch the movie, at least watch the specials. The behind the scenes feturette with Joe the armadillo is hillarious. I love it. The Commentary is good also, whenever it is on. There were too many silent spots. Also, when did Kermit get his tounge fixed so he could try to catch...

STAR WARS because that ending is just cool.

Songs you'd like to see on the next Muppet Compilation CD

They will not use Profesional Pirate because they would have to pay Tim Curry. I just thought that mabe they could have "Room in your heart" from MCC soundtrack because that is just a great song. "The first time it happens" won't be on the CD because it is on the first CD.

What's the deal with the new muppet show?

It has been anounced, however I question weather or not it will overcome the problem of makeing fox happy with it's edgieness and keeping a family audience if it doen't become a sucess. I also wonnder if it will survive the sale of the muppets.

Songs you'd like to see on the next Muppet Compilation CD

Would you want Cabin fever to be the extended version on the soundtrack or the film version?

Songs you'd like to see on the next Muppet Compilation CD

I personally am partial to most of the songs from GMC, so maybe steppin out with a star or couldn't we ride. In addition I also think that the song Bless us all from MCC should be on the CD. I would recomend the whole Musical sequencece From TMTM except for the fact that part of it was on the...

    Muppet Species

yeah, you are right. However Brian Henson says he did that not to fit into muppet cannon as much as he did not want toactually deal with the issue of what the kids would look like. I have a ffeling that if Kermit and Miss Piggy did have kids they would be similar to the MCC brand of Kids. The...

    Muppet Species

Gonzo and Camilla would not necceceraly have ugly children, just all the males would be whatevers and the females would be chickens. That's what happened in MCC.

    Best TMS opening number

Mahna Mahna. It is the best muppet show opening ever. Don't love the Star Wars episode opening number because it took away from time when they could have shown off the talents of Mark or the Gershwin Gargeler (or both). Or they could have done some routine where they tried to trick Luke into...

Who are the Muppet's Biggest Supporters?(TV, celebrity, etc)

The Daily Show has had both Kermit and Piggy on. Craig Kilborn had Kermit on to promote a TV movie for another network. I would say that was pretty nice support.

    Question about Odyssey "Muppetism" spots???

THe Halmark channel does NOT show TMS:( but it did show the recent TV movie a few times before Christmas. They stopped showing TMS because Henson has no stock in the station anymore so they don't have to.

Are kermit and miss piggy married?

I realize that TMM is a movie, but it is also the basis for many facts that we consider true today, such as Kermit growing up in the swamp. Now even if the songs and dialouge are Movie, the basic story (Kermit goes to hollywood, meets fozzie, finds Doc hopper, Moves right along to meet...

I'm confuse between cannon and real life of the Muppets?

Gonzo and Rizzo said that MFS was based on real events (like TMM) but Dave Golez has said that Gonzo being an alien is just a movie. I think that things like MFS are "real" until the Henson Company dedcides that it is easier to have them not be. Also, cannon can be difficult to decide, for...

Are kermit and miss piggy married?

If you start discounting the show, then the only real muppet moments are on the muppets from space DVD and Kermits swamp years. That is a scary thought. My question is, why is scooter in the Muppet movie. He did not introduce himself to Kermit until a few episodes into the Muppet show.

How do the performers sound in real life?

some more places to hear jims voice are on the muppet family christmas special and the Muppets take Manhatten DVD. On the MTM DVD Jim says in the interviews that Kermit is basicaly his voice and he tended to go into his voicec while doing Kermit. I can definatly hear more kermit than rowlf in him.
