I'm confused on his answer to the snuffy question. That was done in 86 wasn't it? So he was still on the show and Jim was still alive. And he worked on the show into the 90's and still shows up. So...I'm confused as to why he was acting like it was recent. I think Snuffy has been...
It's certainly a step in the right direction. I'm glad this thing will be out and about and I think the look of the anamatronic puppets are great. I'd like to see even more in the future. A Fozzie Bear traveling comedy act could be great. One step at a time though.
Muppets were just meant...
I believe that the Muppet Show writers had sit downs with various guest stars and tailored the show to them usually. I wouldn't be surprised if some guest stars sat down and wrote for that weeks show as well.
I read the thread and I don't see why it was closed. Barry Lee over reacted to something you didn't even write and then Count just up and closed it after one misinformed post.
MTI is a rather well done movie and it makes good use of Kevin Clash as Polly and of Sam Eagle. Very good movie with some great casting. Kevin Clash is an amazing performer, when he isn't being sickeningly sweet as Elmo.
Steve's Kermit mugs for the camera like Rizzo. It's just how he performs. He also uses the phrase "good point" a lot. It's his verbal crutch. We all have them. In fact he uses it with Kermit on the DVD menu. I'd just like to see Kermit go back to have dry wit. Steve can do it to. Kermit...
Oh I see. That would explain Frank Oz performing. I was hoping it was done just for this set and he happened to want to come back and do some stuff. Oh well, I still like them and I had never seen them.
While I agree that protests and boycotts are over the top, I do think that Gonzo's odd lookingn ose is enough to simply not buy him. It's just not right looking. I would rather they hold off on producing him until a solution is made. There must be some kind of foam like material, or foam...
Yeah I saw pics of that Gonzo prototype and remember just how amazing Gonzo was originally. They HAVE to find a solution. The current nose just looks bad. Animal's eyes still bug me, but some of the extra space may be from the eye brow fur. The prototype is again far superior. I mean I get...
I'm sure Jerry would have done it if asked, but it seems they only wanted to pay two performers. I dunno. I still like them. I hope we see Gonzo and Rizzo and bunsen and Beaker on the next one. In fact, that would have been a great pair up for this one. I do love seeing Eric's Fozzie...
Oh yeah I didn't even think of Lips. And I love your idea of Piggy and Link. That would have been great, especially since season 2 started Pigs in Space. Good idea! Too bad they didn't think of that. Of course, it would have meant rebuilding Link probably. Then again, Animal didn't look...
Wow your fast. Thanks! It's decent enough quality to get an idea of what I missed. Hopefully I won't miss the replay. Now I will watch the rest. I only saw 2 seconds and wanted to thank you first. :p
Edit: Just watched it and wow, that was actually rather good. I like that Beaker, Chef...
I liked the set. I thought the bonus features were just fine. It had some great new material and a nice old special. I'm not a fan of the pop up trivia from the season 1 set. Also the menus were better this time around. They featured more characters and the menu looked better than the weird...
Couldn't they have just altered that part of the pattern? I mean this isn't something change that got made over they ears. Animal's eyes have always been right next to each other with very little space. There must be some pattern that has them like that.
Edit: It just bugs me that Animal...
