By that, do you not like things such as, say, Howard Handupme? Or Kermit saying "We on The Muppet Show are very interested in puppets, for some strange reason?" or the puppet jokes in the Senor Wences episode as well?
Then again, those earlier examples are more subtle, without actually calling...
In no way am I giving anyone flack. It's just the way that some people express their opinions that gets intolerable.
Everybody's entitled to their opinions, but some people should learn to express them in a more respectable manner.
I was wondering... Has the trailer been shown in front of "Cars 2" in any theaters?
When I went to see it on Friday, they didn't screen it in front of the film. Then again, I did go to see the 3D version, so I'm guessing that they're not showing the Muppets trailer in front of the 3D version of...
That's not true, of course. The only reason why Walt stopped doing Mickey's voice regularly was because Walt became way too busy with his ever-increasing responsibilities around his studio (working on movies, TV shows, Disneyland, etc.) to do voice-over work on a full-time basis.
I agree that...
I get what some of you are saying, but the part that really ticked me off as the whole "laying to rest" bit.
To me, suggesting that a particular character should "die" with their voice actor is just plain stupid. The characters are supposed to live forever.
It's like suggesting that Mickey...
I don't like to be grumpy or come off as such, but I do need to vent a little bit here.
It gets really irritating when so-called fans say things that come off as sounding stupid, such as this post on the Internet Movie Database message board for "The Muppets" film:
I sometimes feel Kermit...
Can we please refrain from going there? Thanks.
Speaking of the Swedish Chef, there's another unsual little clip in the trailer that hasn't been pointed out yet--Chef hugs a group of chickens, instead of trying to cook them or chase them with a cleaver. Unexpected, but sweet. :hungry:
Personally, I didn't see any conductor in the orchestra, because Walter's head was blocking the view of where the conductor would be, so I think there's still a chance of seeing Nigel the Conductor again.
Speaking of the orchestra, one of the random musicians in the pit in that same shot looked...
True, unless the scene with the arches takes place in the middle of the film at the start of the telethon. If that's the case, then most likely they'll still be assissting Tex Richman in his plans by that point and will have yet to betray him.
I know that Baskerville and Lenny were in the...
I was wondering...
Maybe the arches that are still empty in that shot in the official trailer are going to be filled by other secondary characters that might have prominent cameos in the film and they either haven't been put in yet or were edited out to not give too much away.
One thing that I...
Maybe she says that as a way to persuade Kermit into saying "Yes" to doing the telethon, similar to the frog's attempts to get Mr. Tarkanian to let him, Fozzie and Gonzo go to England to interview Lady Holiday and catch the jewel thieves. :)
After all, if Kermit said "No", the movie would...
Lots of secondary characters in this one. In addition to the ones already mentioned, I also spotted Carl, the Afghan Hound, Luncheon Counter Monster, the Mutations and the Blustering Bellowpane Monster. I also spotted Trumpet Girl in the orchestra pit when Walter bows on stage and Mahna Mahna...
