I once wrote a letter to SS asking for a signed photo, only to recieve a cast picture w/the words "To (My name)." God, was I devestated!
A couple weeks ago, I mailed a two page letter to Carroll Spinney (One of my all-time favorites). Hopefully, he'll reply within the next few months...
Scariest muppets? Well, I don't think any muppets ever "scared" me, per say. But, since you asked ... as a younger kid, I always found the martians to be the most un-settling.

Personally, I think those SS shirts are some of the oddest looking things I've seen :)
-- I am looking for any SS clips and/or episodes from the '80's. I would especially loooooove the episode about Mr. Hooper's death, if anybody has it.
-- The episode of MISTER ROGERS NEIGHBORHOOD with Big Bird
-- Any SS PBS commercials from the '80's/early '90's
-- Pennants and/or programs...
I've been wondering: When did "The Wubbulous World of Dr. Suess" air on television? Did anybody here used to watch it?
We've had conversations about SESAME STREET, DINOSAURS, FRAGGLE ROCK, MUPPET BABIES, THE MUPPET SHOW, MUPPETS TONIGHT, THE HOOBS, STORYTELLER, BEAR IN THE BIG BLUE HOUSE, the...
I am very interested in the 1998 SS episode, but only have X-MAS EVE ON SS DVD and MUPPET CLASSIC THEATER video to trade.
If you don't want any of these, Could you perhaps sell me a copy?

I sometimes watch THE ED SULLIVAN SHOW on PBS, and one of the episodes has a skit where a green frog is playing the piano.
Now ... for all you Henson historians: Is this indeed Kermit, or "pre-kermit"? And When did Kermit make his first appearance?

Caroll Spinney will be honored Jan. 30th in San Jose. Tickets are "very" expensive (Over $200), but they do benefit the Childrens Discovery museums programs. I will not be going (As I am not rich :) ), but for those of you who have $250, this might be worth it...
Me, too. I wish that FR would either get released on DVD or re-broadcast on television.

Love the Doozers :)
Rosie was great. Although I think now she has totally abandoned her talent in her stand-up acts, her television program was awesome. The sensitivity she showed, her love for children & her passion for charity made the show worth watching. Not to mention the appearances by Elmo :).
I only...
I personally think LuLu's Back In Town is one of the corniest songs ever written. And not good corny in the Disney kinda way. But BAD corny in the Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy kinda way :)
What'd be awesome is a parady of Thriller by Michael Jackson. Kinda like Moulin Scrooge, but darker (And...
