If you ever get tired, I would love a chance at it
I will stop when I get one that people stop asking me what it is. BTW whats the prize if I win?
I actually thought that would be a natural for the San Diego show (it is a COMIC BOOK convention, after all)
IS the Scooter still unsold? I think that would be a natural for Diamond Comics to carry it.
GO to the Ask Ken thread, and look for the info, it is probably burried 10-20 pages back by now. Or post there that you want in on the future waves of membership.
First off I am amazed at the refferences that come about here. I was under the impression that everyone at U2 had signed off on the Negativeland CD, and it was Casey Kasem that was the thorn in the side of it's release. Oh well, it just makes my copy more valuable.
As far as Lucas goes, I...
Glad to hear you guys are so cautious. I only got burned once myself (and only for $5.00, I took a calculated rsk, and lost).
I came across this bozo
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1748091580
He is flat out lying about the production numbers. I wrote him and told him...
I can see why Lucas would be touchy about the Star Wars Parodies, but given his on-going relationship with Henson, I think it would be a possibility to do these as a Muppetfest exclusive, just a few hundred pieces, not a mass produced, regular retail piece.
A boy can dream, can't he?
All I want is a Holloween themed set (similair to the Simspsons Treehouse of Horrors) consisting of:
Mulch ~ Uncle Deadly ~ Boppity
Also (Muppetfest/Fan Club)
Two Pack from the Mark Hamill/Star Wars
Episode:
Dirth Nader ~ Princess Piggy
Actually Diamond comics has several distribution centers. The number on the case is probably what came to the one that services your local comic shop.
Wow Portugal. Makes me wonder who is the furthes away member. This might be best answered in the 'Ask Ken' thread. If you can use ebay, I see...
Thank you for clarifying that. It was not my intent to imply that at all. If you read the ebay item description, Palisades just sold these at the show, when they ran out of the regulars.
Sorry, I did not mean to imply otherwise.
try going to a search engine, I would recommend google,
http://images.google.com/
And type in Muppet show followed by the name of the character... you should find what you need.
I am glad Ken was able to do something with them, he seemed a little upset about the SNAFU.
I think this will sell for cheap, most people don't pay a lot for error products. There is one guy who was listing an error MOC Kermit, and it never even got the opening bid.
Keep an eye on it, you...
It is my understanding that they tried to send out a bulk email, but it jammed their server. They will re-send it when everyone is back from Chicago tomorrow.
They are made by Action Racing Collectables.
There is mention of them in a few other threads.
$60 is the standard retail price.
They are nice, I got animal and Gonzo, I am still hoping to get the hauler and a couple other of the character cars.
I am pretty sure you can return merchandise ordered through the website to any Toys R US store. If so, order up some, and just pull the best of the crop, and return the rest ot your local store.
www.clevermoms.com ususally has some online coupon codes for TRU. When I ordered mine, I wound up...
1)Scred
2)Yoda (.... it's my party and I say if you got a hand up your hooey, and Frank Oz's voice, your'e a MUPPET)
3)Gonzo
4)Camilla (c'mon, Gonzo can't leave her behind for all these partys, she'll get lonely)
5)Sweetums
6)Ludo (I just wanna see if they'll hit it off)
7)Rowlf
8)Floyd...
I wouldn't even mind seeing a dark horse candidate like Universal cone in from behind.....
They did a great job with the Dr. Seuss theme park, it would be fun to see what they did with the Muppets.
A Possibility?
Ken,
This is coming from left field, but I have a thought... forming in my head (name that movie!)....
IF the San Diego Animal is a no go, and IF some of the work has already been done.....
could this possibly be the first MUPPET CENTRAL exclusive? I had the thought from...
I hope this fits into the permitters of the board......
I am fortunate in that all of my favorites are already confirmed in the assortments for the next couple of years.
I would vote for variations of Kermit, Gonzo, Piggy and Fozzie from the Mark Hamill episode. or the figures from the...
That was me! Thanks for the pics, I can't wait to get my hands on them!
To Quote the Springfield quiz Show "ME Wanteeee!"
(betcha thought no one would catch that one, didn't ya?)
The Rankin Bass figures make such cool figures, now we just need somebody to make figures from Mad Monster...
