I'm laughing here. The Japanese Elmo sounds VERY feminine and confused even me the first few times but I knew the American one was a boy. Nermal I always knew was a boy, I've been reading Garfield since the 70's. The cartoon voice threw me but I figured he's suppose to sound like a pre-pubesent...
Yes, yes I live. The cold I had hit me pretty hard for a few days there, sorry about that. I'm sending out requests now :)
ALSO, does anyone have "A Cookie is a Sometimes Food"? or The Sesame Street Monsters singing the Beatles songs (from the 45)?
Looking for "Furry Blue Mommy Of Mine". I got outbid on the Monster Melodies CD and this is the only song I wanted it for!
New:
At Home with Bert and Ernie
Elmo and the Orchestra
Sesame Street LIVE!
I have them :p I actually found someone with the old records who sent me a CD of their vinyl rip. I got lucky on that one!
If anyone wants anything non-MUP, you can also check my LJ link and see if I have it on any of my lists there.
I seriously think I'm immune. I was shot so full of antibiotics and immunizations as a kid that I never got anything like chicken pox, mumps, measles..etc.
But I've heard if I get chicken pox now, I'm in for a real bad time!
You know, I've never even had chicken pox! My little sister got it while I was away visiting friends so I totally missed out on that whole experience too.
As for being a terrible mother, I have to laugh, when people say that to me I take it as a compliment! But as for you? Nah, being a...
Just drop me your email.
Kyle - sending those albums now! They're a bit unusual for Sesame Street albums but I hope you enjoy them (I think I'm down to only needing the oddball albums now!). As for me, I'm very glad I bought the Muppet movies and the Muppet Show season 2! Running those and...
Well I'd personally be thrilled if they did listen. I'd buy reissues of Muppet and Sesame albums but only as long as they remain unedited (yes, I want to hear all the record references. The whole point of buying a reissue is to have the original product that was missed out on, not a cut up...
Thanks :) Listening to great music while stuck in bed helps!
It might be a bit before I have new Sesame Street updates, guys. My Sesame Live and Susan albums are both too touchy for me to record. I sent them over to my recordphile partner to tend to since he's good with damaged and warped...
Wonderful! Thank you! The guy who gave me the song listing got his S and B mixed up more than once, he actually listed one as "What's the name of that Bong?" I'm bidding on Sing Sang Song Singalong and I have the other two so I'll be skipping the set.
Does anyone have Platinum Too or...
When did it become the standard to plop kids in front of the TV and use it as a babysitter anyhow? My mom use to watch Sesame Street with me and I doubt very much I sat still and paid attention for the entire hour. That's an adult concept, young kids don't sit still and be quiet for that long...
