playset wise, after chef's kitchen and swine trek, I'd say for sure the backstage muppet theatre and then main stage area of muppet theatre are the best choices. After that, Vet's hospital...personally, those are the only real playsets I think are worthwhile (although I'd buy them all anyway...
I love rowlf too and would love to see him in more scenes...actually all of Bill's characters, both original and "adopted" are cool...I really like Bobbo, and doesn't Bill do Dr. Teeth now?
If i had to pick a couple of muppets to really make a comeback, I'd pick Rowlf and the Electric Mayhem...
I seriously doubt this guy could pull up the funds anyway...I wouldn't worry about it...I've heard about him from time to time on local radio stations, and he's generally getting made fun of :p
zootgal's skipped a groove again :)
man, that'd be neat...I want a job as a puppeteer in toronto too! Even though I have no talent or skill...
hmm..have you tried applying to YTV?? Also CFTO...they seem to hire puppeteers every once in a while...
I used ot know a few people that...
I completely agree with your first point...no question...I'm glad to hear he's still in the loop!! He's always been one of my fav's
For your second, now that you mention it, I have, only once, and thinking about it, it WAS really hard...and that was me dubbing over myself (more or less). So...
Congrats on the anniversary! 20 years already...madness...
I too would love to see this show on DVD, particularly because I've heard so much about it, but have never seen an episode...sadly, we couldnt' afford HBO when I was a young'un...
yeah, toystoystoys is insane...worst toy-store EVER. THe only thing they're ever good for is finding things that came out like 5 years ago because no one has bought them yet for their outrageously inflated prices.
Well, okay, every once in a while they get in a KB exclusive that wouldn't...
intersting about the 2005 first quarter thing...that leaves a lot of room...I'm not counting on seeing anything that's not been announced already or at least sculpted....I am hoping for as much as possible, but we'll have to see how it goes..I do think series 2 is selling better than series 1...
wowk, 18 bucks is definitely too much...where in ON are you? There must be moe comic store around...I've visited 3 different comic stores in Toronto area and never seen them for more than 15...
Vet's hospital would be my number 2 choiuce for a playset, after the backstage area. BOP, I also BARELY (bear-ly? wocka wocka!) remember...I'd liek a figure maybe of BOP fozzie, sometime down the line, but would prefer VH immensly, and am not hugely excited about a playset....
actually she got two, and one was the one with the detached arm (he's still in pacaging back at my apartment). Dont' know what to do with that one, but it can obviously just be popped in...might use it for trade...nothing on it is broken, just detached...
