Oz Return to OZ and the Wizard of OZ are not the same book, not at all. Return is based on the first 3 OZ books by L. Frank Baum. The Wizard of Oz is based on the firts book, "The Wonderful Wizard of OZ". the differences are huage and really you would need to read them to find out how. :)
