I disagree. This was most definitely a joke -- a frog saying 'porn is fine' is funny in itself, but the straight face was part of the funniness, too -- not all jokes need to end in a guffaw. Besides that, this was on a show at (approx.) 1 o'clock in the morning! If your kids are up to see that...
Today's Friday. Did yours ship? I preordered mine from ebgames.com, too, and it STILL says 'waiting for product.' I'm concerned because my email address changed since then and I haven't been getting any updates (though I changed the address on account, and it should be OK...)
okey-dokey
That's OK, Zack. It doesn't look like there are any Germans on this board, anyway. Perhaps if one of you fine people with young German friends could ask them and let me know what the Swedish Chef is called in Germany... My aunt is 80-something years old and would have no idea what...
Hey, I heard (at toughpigs.com) that McDonald's in Europe will be having Muppets Happy Meal promotions -- a series of dolls (main characters).
Anybody German here? I have an aunt in Germany and plan to ask her to get me a Swedish Chef, but I don't know what Germans call him. I don't think...
Uggggggh
This is all your fault! Before I saw those pix I was pleasantly anticipating the arrival of Series 2. Now I gotta, gotta, gotta have 'em NOW! :D
Gonzo in particular looks awesome. Love the cape and cannon.
Hello, folks. I'm looking for a link that was mentioned somewhere on the Muppet Central forum. I followed it, and it took me to a site where, if you click on one of the Muppets shown, a video for that character pops up. The one for Kermit showed him dancing to Floyd's guitar playing. Then Floyd...
curtains!
Hey, Ken -- Would real fabric curtains be possible for the stage? Someone suggested flexible red plastic, like on Bunsen's labcoat, but I think red velvety fabric would make it extra special. :D
I agree
The consensus seems to be in favor of a smaller stage, and I agree. The playsets are getting bigger (and better) with each series, and a "frame" stage to fit each one would be too much, cost- and size-wise. Besides, the playsets are in different sizes, so a stage that would just fit...
oh
No, I thought (stupidly) a Baby Grand was the only option, and I was wondering/worried if Tux Rowlf was the only one that would include a piano -- any piano.
So there's a possibility Naked Rowlf would have an upright... maybe... OK, thanks, Ken.
rowlf question for ken
Ken, I know Tux Rowlf is coming with a piano, and regular Rowlf is coming later. Would he have a piano, too, or is Tux Rowlf the only shot we have at a piano? I prefer regular Rowlf, but I also would really want to have a piano.
I get the feeling I'll end up buying...
Thanks, all
Thanks for your support. I can see Muppet fans have hearts of furry, warm felt. And eyes of painted ping-pong balls. :D
PS- Luke, I don't know yet if my DVD can play European discs. I'll look it up. Thanks for the offer.
yay!
Good news in the captioning saga. After my long-winded story and a tear or two (just kidding), Target refunded my money. So I haven't lost 20 bucks.
Still wish I could see TMS again (I could hear back then), but I'll be able to keep content with Kermit's Swamp Years. It's not on the...
thanks
Thank you for your sympathies. Struggling with lack of captioning from companies too cheap to make their products accessible to everyone is nothing new. This instance really burns my toast because everything indicated it WAS captioned, but then it wasn't. What a disappointment that was...
