Who's in the auidience of Muppets Tonight? Here are the only two I can remember or make out;
Stevenson the Parrot
An alligator
But I know there are more......Help me, please.
This is a thread dedicated to two of my favorite characters and I'd like to point several things out.
1. What is their race? They've been called "Shills", "rats" and "Trash Twins", though this would describe them best since they're like ying and yang; Philo has hooded eyes that seem to...
I talked to a friend of mine about "The Terrible Tunnel" and said it was the first episode where "kill" was used in the literal sense which gave her mixed feelings. "It's a show with cute puppets, but they use words like that". Anyone else feel the same way?
Philo and Gunge, the two "Trash Twins" that hang out with Maudarey (?), the Trash Heap, seem to only show her respect while they act smug towards anyone who comes to see her, like they aren't worth her time. When it seems she's frozen to death, they become distraught over the possibility of...
I watched "I want to be you" today and noticed that while Mokey recited her poem, the only one Red was interested in paying attention to her was Gobo.
Another thing about this episode I found interesting was Philo (or was it Gunge?) making the comment on how impressive Gobo found the poetic...
Any ideas what songs would be good for the show and who could sing them?
Here are the ones I came up with.
"Skidrow/Downtown"-Maybe sung by the first season Gonzo, Droop and other depressed-looking muppets.
"I'm Here For The Party"-played by either the Electric Mayhem or the Alice...
I remember a skit where Grover is a waiter who gives Fat Blue a bell to ring if he needs anything. Close to the end he and Grover start arguing and when FB demands to see the manager, a giant monster with big teeth (I remeber him looking like a bigger version of Behemoth!!!) stomper out from the...
An angered Uncle Deadly threatens to make life in the theater hard on the residents if they don't leave it. Is it possible that he put a curse on the theater that causes some of the problems that weren't the fault of anyone in later seasons? It does make some sense when you think about it.
When I was little, I remeber the Storyteller a sing-song tale that was probably a little more heavy scare-wise than was meant for little kids.
I think it was about a monster living in a cave that sucked unfortunate victims into it, a Fraggle in armor comes to "slay it" I think, because I...
I've heard of this before, but nothing too specific. I understand the monsters sing this with someone, but what I want to know is which monsters, which part did one particular monster sing, and how was the song set up?
Which guest star did you like to see get along with the muppets? Some of mine are....
Joel Gray and Gonzo-He seemed good at keeping Gonzo's selr-estem up.
Fozzie and Bruce Foresythe-Worked great with Fozzie on how to throw insultive jokes at insultive hecklers.
Phyillis Diller and...
Is Green Scoff a male or a female? They never really say. All we really have to go on is this vulture-like monster's first line from "Comedy Tonight"; "Something peculiar". Maybe the puppet is female, or maybe it's just a male with a nasally feminine voice. That's what I'm leaving others to decide.
This is a blue frog that is possibly famous for being the first Muppet frog with hooded eyes. He's unique in that he's always sitting down and seen in serine and peaceful numbers, first appearing with Mary Louise. Where else did he appear in the show and what did he do?
I was just reading the guide to the Connie Stevens episode and came across the name "Bruce Fox". I think I know who that might be. He appeared in At The Dance doing the "Fox Trot". He had a thin frame, face, brown fur, and beady eyes. Why didn't he appear other times in the show? After that he...
She's a blue female Whatnot who always danced with a Whatnot named Herman (first a green one, then a light gray one with a more noticable nose)(She also danced with Bernie the rabbit). It seems a running gag is the fact that she has a hacksaw voice that "carries" and her often having some...
Which monsters were in the auidience during the talk spot between Kermit and Vincent? Here are the ones I caught;
Blue Scoff
Beautiful Day
a purple monster that looked like Lenny
Gloat (?)
Koozbanian Trumpet Beast
Koozbanian Fish Beast (or whatever you call the one that looks like a furry...
One of my favorite episodes was when Gonzo revealed he had a crush on Piggy. It was funny seeing how obsessive of her as she was of Kermit he'd become, though in a somewhat wimpish way. I think they only refered to it twice more; when he fell in love with the guest star, and in the "Robin Hood"...
Which version of Gonzo was better?
season 1:
He had a down-and-out look to go with his slightly depressed attitude and a sarcastic and quiet tone to his voice when talking about his acts, seeming to secretly thinking they might not be liked or appreciated. He was also whiney, but not...
It comprises of Piggy, Geroge, Gladys, Fozzie, Gonzo and Kermit gathered around Rowlf's piano sometimes to sing what to be their favorite songs. They're much better than the Glee Club, if you ask me, since they seem to have a better sense of harmoney than those frogs, chickens, and pigs did...
