Again I appreciate every thing that you have said and agree with all of your points. I also know of the ***-willow that you are talking about. To me the difference is that there is nothing to indicate that it is dirty or sexual, meaning PePe is not talking about topless dancing before the song...
Muppet Music
That will be good, considering we have needed some new music for a long time now. I do home it will not be with in the same context as the MGM film. I know the MGM film kind of sets the standard, but we really need some original muppet magic here. :)
Muppets Wizard of OZ
I was wondering id any one knows if there will be original songs in this film. I really hope that there are songs, but I do not want it to be a repeat of the MGM film.
Yeah I really agree, although I did not find Whopie to be all that funny. I prefer the Muppets to be moral, but like you say keep religion out of it. Although in conext of the film it worked fairly well. I thought it was way lame that inorder to get kermit back to the real world the angel had to...
Fozzie
I think this kind of goes back to what I was saying about them all being connected. Of course they all have had an effect on eachother...think of the Muppet Show with out Fozzie. Think if Kermit had never discovered Him at the El-Sleezo Cafe, they all have had an effect on eachother, and...
I posted this a while back in a diffeent forum, but this will explain where I am comming from.
OK, I understand that a lot of people will have overlooked this, and that is cool because unless you know about it, or have seen Moulin Rouge you probably do not know what exactly I am talking about...
Getting back on track
Yes lets all get back on track here I think that would really be good.
I think Piggy might have tured out like that too, and it does break my heart.
I think it os so sad when kermit and Fozzie are looking for the money and Fozzie says...."Does it help that I feel...
I agree
EXACTLY!
Not having seen KSY I can not make as many comparisons as you have. But truly I am hoping respectfully for the same things with Muppets Wizard of OZ. A little less of the adult potty humor would really be good. As I have mentioned before The Muppet Show always had things...
I am not stating facts any more than any one else is here. I am only expressing my views on the subject.
I was thinking that Fozzie would still be telling bad jokes at the El-Sleezo Cafe where Kermit originally found him, not a pick pocket. And Wouldn't Piggy be working as an actress model...
Very Good Point
I re-watched it’s a very Merry Muppet Christmas last night.
It seems to me that I am doing a very bad job of expressing myself. I am sorry I made a mistake in spelling Fozzie's name, and I am sorry if you are all angry with me.
I think there are some very terrible, adult...
Out Numbered
Well gang it looks like I am out numbered here, and I will admit I have not done a good job in pleading my side of the case. I never felt like fozzy was set up to fail because of the risks involved, because no matter what Kermit and the gang backed him up. In VCMM even Fozzy...
Avmmm
Actually that is the film I am talking about (AVMMM) The whole thing with "I wish I had never been born!" way to over the top for me. Fozzy being nothing more than a dummy who can't do anything right, I was heart broken to see him have to face those lasers, but doing it a 2nd time was...
I have to agree, all of the characters had reached a point at which they were the best they could be, and the evolution need to if not stop at least slow from that point on. Kermit is just wild all the time, like a freak. Look at Muppets Christmas Carol, this film is the most like the original...
Good Bits
All I am going to say is take those bits that you have just mentioned and then compare them to The Muppet Movie, or MCC, or MTI, or even Return to OZ which was a Disney film full of Jim Henson’s creatures and creations. I would even say compare those moments to MGM's Wizard of OZ...
:attitude: I can kind of see where you are coming from. But let me ask this, when was the last time the Muppet Characters had to do anything so much out of desperation that they would risk bodily harm.
True to Character, when was the last time Fozzy bear was portrayed as a complete and udder...
I am not sure I know what you mean by QTMM, but I do agree that I am being very hard on about 45 seconds of Muppet film. I will probably just rent it when it comes to video.
I was expecting the Muppets to change the story slightly and make it there own. Looking at MTR, and MCC those are great films with a good story at the heart of the matter. Like wise I expected the same thing for the Muppets Wizard of OZ, but unfortunately there story of OZ is so fair removed we...
