Thanks for giving me some sort of direction. Research like this is very hard... its difficult to find acceptable academic articles and what not... I got to design the project though so its pretty open ended as far as what I can do with it...
I am doing a research project for one of my education courses and was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of any articles, clips or anything else that may be of help in a presentation on Sesame Street and its incorporation of characters with disabilities throughout the years...
not only does it upset me that there are some kids who wont get one because of the outrageous prices that parents wont be able to afford... but also the fact that sesame workshop is a non-profit organization... something about Joe Blow making 240 dollars off a toy associated with a NPO really...
yea, it actually ended up selling for $280.50... absolutely nuts...kind of upsets me though that people would buy a bunch to sell at these high prices... I just think of all the kids who could have one but wont because their parents cant pay 200+ dollars
I got one... and good thing... amazon already has the price raised to 100 dollars and they are going for 150 on ebay... the guy in front of me at wal mart bought 5 and said he was selling them...
well... he's out... here are a couple stories I came across... the second has video of TMX Elmo in action...

The "upcoming Grinch musical" has been playing to sold out crowds in San Diego for almost 10 years so I don't think we have to worry about it being a flop on broadway.
Most recent purchase: Fraggle Rock Season 2 because it is necessity for any Jim Henson fanatic
Cheapest purchase: Wal Mart $5.50 movies... What About Bob and others
Most expensive: $70 for season 1 of American Dreams or $60 for season 3 of Smallville
Don't know if its been posted anywhere else but here is a link to the full details and cover art from TVshowsonDVD

Just wondering how many college students we had on the boards.
I currently go to Indiana Wesleyan University, but will be tranferring to Indiana University next fall. Anyone Else?
