The lyrics are:
Take a little one-step, two-step, three-step.
Come a little closer, please,
like a rose that blows in every breeze.
Take a little one-step, two-step, three-step,
then a little dip, like this.
Here's a step we can't afford to miss!
And then you glide and you slide...
When I was a kid, I had a copy of The Muppet Show Book. One of the stories (from the Dom DeLuise episode) was called "Miss Piggy 'Buys the House.'" I remember reading that one again and again and getting confused and frustrated because I saw nothing about Miss Piggy buying a cottage or shack or...
I dreamed that I was walking past a body of water that had trees growing nearby. It must have been autumn, because all the leaves were brown. Jim Henson was gathering leaves or twigs or something, and we stopped and talked. He told me a little about how Muppets are made.
I ate lunch out today. I ordered two slices of baguette topped with melted cheese and some sort of sprouts. The bread came with a small salad and a delicious bowl of carrot soup that had balsamic vinegar in it!
Around noon today, I had a chocolate egg that someone had dropped near the sidewalk. So what if it had been on the ground? It was in its foil wrapper (though not when I ate it, naturally!). Tasted delicious, and I haven't suffered any ill effects.
I dreamed that I met Jim Henson and Bob McGrath. They told some stories, and we watched some shows, and Jim said it was good to turn off the TV between shows and read or do something else, so as to give your mind a break.
I dreamed that the Muppets found the words to a song they wanted to sing, but they didn't know the tune. I went outside, and suddenly the tune came to me, and I started to sing it. Statler and Waldorf, who were sitting outside, said that was the tune, so I went in to tell the other Muppets...
Last night, I dreamed that I was on the set of the Muppet Show. Beauregard was having trouble with his sweeping, so I helped him. We enjoyed cleaning up together. The strangest part of my dream was that in the side of the staircase was a door leading to another dressing room. Since it was on the...
One of my favorite moments is from episode 411 of the Muppet Show, guest starring Lola Falana. Gonzo has quit the show after getting an offer from a film studio in Bombay, India. But he comes back, and Lola and the cast sing a heartfelt rendition of "United We Stand, Divided We Fall."
I first read about this story on a site called ToughPigs. I looked at the site again today, and I found a link with an update :

I dreamed that it was August and that I was on a bus with a bunch of people I knew. Most of them were human, but Harvey Kneeslapper and Lew Zealand were there, too. We were on our way to a friend's house for soul food, which would include fried chicken. But then, before we even reached our...
My least favorite hairstyle for Miss Piggy was from the Helen Reddy episode of the Muppet Show. In the "Stayin' Alive" number, Miss Piggy played Marie Antoinette and wore a huge white wig!
And I thought he only played the harmonica! He's versatile, all right.
My favorite part of seeing him was that this looked more like the old Beauregard, with bigger eyes and no visible ears.
