"Hidden Messages" in The Muppets (2011)

I do want it to be known that when I say "hidden messages", I don't mean "messages that are meant to corrupt people." I just meant as a hidden joke or reference to something else.

How old were you when you started liking Muppets?

I didn't become a huge fan until this past year, actually. I had, of course, watched Sesame Street endlessly when I was little (I even remember watching Elmo in Grouchland when I was about 10). And, up to about 14 or 15, I would watch it in the afternoon when I was waiting for the local Simpsons...

Speculation: Potential Sequel for "The Muppets"

I'm gonna remain a bit skeptical with this, since I'm still waiting for Lemony Snicket 2 (which hasn't been discussed since 2009), but I hope they are working on a non-sequel. And I consider The Muppets as a bit of a documentary, if you disregard everything after MTM, due to Kermit and Piggy's...

"Hidden Messages" in The Muppets (2011)

I've heard of hidden Mickeys (I'm actually the type of person who looks for them), but I swear there's something after it.

    Movies you can't believe exist

When I get a new Disney Diamond Edition DVD, that's come out on the same day as another Buddies movie, there is almost always a teaser trailer for the next one.

What improvements would you have made to The Muppets Film 2012 (spoilers)

I'm fine with the modern songs. They're putting on a show in the present day, where we have "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and "Forget You" as contemporary songs, just like they were putting on a show during the 70s, when the contemporary songs were "In The Navy" and "Copacabana".

"Hidden Messages" in The Muppets (2011)

Now, there is a tradition of wack-jobs saying that Disney is trying to corrupt the youth of America by hiding secret messages in their film, from a certain part of the male anatomy hidden in the cover art for The Little Mermaid VHS, to Aladdin urging teenagers to take off their clothes. Well...

Oh! This is easy! Manos: The Hands of Fate. :D

What improvements would you have made to The Muppets Film 2012 (spoilers)

I think they do show Link and Strangepork a few times in casual attire. The one that comes to mind is during the "We Built This City" sequence when Fozzie shows a picture of his "80s haircut", Link is wearing a "classy casual" outfit (complete with ascot) while sipping tea. NOTE: I looked up...

    Muppet Voice Impressions

My best ones are Beaker and Scooter. But, if I'm so tired that I let go of my usual censors, I can do an okay Elmo. Also, I can almost do the Robot Chicken version of Kermit.

    The most tear-jerking Muppet moment...

"Pictures in My Head" for me. It's like "Baby Mine" in Dumbo for me. I think I'll be able to make it through this time, I'm certain of it! But at the end, when the pictures become motionless, and Kermit lifts up the sheet covering Miss Piggy's portrait to take a silent look at it.... It just...

What improvements would you have made to The Muppets Film 2012 (spoilers)

I think it would've been a bit better if the flashback to Kermit and Piggy's breakup was kept in. That was the only real problem with the movie after I saw it in the theater; There was this big emphasis put on their broken relationship, and I was expecting an explanation on why they weren't...
