It is very annoying that these are restricted to US only.
I am lucky that I am going to New York next month and will be able to buy one.
It seems still unclear if you can make and then take away your puppet on the same day?
Here is the puppet I am hoping to buy, although I want the red...
I'm going to New York on Nov 29th, so that worked out well, great fun trying all the bits online, but the only problem now, which one do I decide?
Chris
Thanks for the heads up Warrick.
I just read the message and turned on and it was on now.
It is the USA version Doc, as I thought it might be.
The episode was The Doozer Contest, I have set the Sky+ box to record them, unfortunetly there is not a series link option, silly really to...
Yes I kinda get that, I guess its a bit like the Muppet Workshop products in the 90's trying to encourage creativity.
Cant wait to see them in FAO in 6 weeks.
Chris
Thanks guys,
I have already booked to go up the empire state building, although I did go up there two years ago, they have movie posters in a room while you are queing to go up of all the movies that the empire state has featured, they have the Muppets take Manhattan poster, I had my piccy...
Hi Guys,
Thanks for the tips, I knew about the Whatnots at FAO and will of course be going to see them.
Leanne, you are so lucky to have seen the Macys windows 5 years ago, I last went to NY two years ago.
I was hoping with Kermit in the parade and with Letters to Santa coming out that...
Im going to NY on 29th Nov, so I will definetly be taking a look at these, although I am not sure yet if I will get one?
They do look like whatnots, but not any what not I recognise?
I hope you can buy extra eyes, noses and wigs to change it, rather than having just 1 puppet, afterall, a...
Hey Leanne,
Great LINK to the region codes site, I have a DVD player in my living room and a portable DVD player that I had turned to region 0, but havnt been able to find the code for the DVD/TV combi in my bedroom, but that site had it and it worked, now I can watch all my US DVDs in bed...
Hi Guys,
I posted on here two years ago as I was making a trip to New York for the first time from the UK and wanted to know if there was anything Muppety that I should see while I was there.
Well, two years on I am returning on 29th Nov til 4th Dec and again am asking if anyone knows of...
Has anyone found this complete programme on you tube, as a fan outside the USA its the only way I can get to see it as I had to with the first one!
Please post a link if you know of the complete show, there are several clips but I cant find the whole show?
Thanks
Chris
Thanks for the new piccy Danny. I think thats the image used on Henson.com!
Nice to be able to enlarge it though, it shows that the book style DVD pages are held together as a ring binder?
Does anyone know what the poster looks like yet? It sounds very interesting on the Henson Podcast...
Well, Its nice to see the artwork at last, but, as usual nothing new here.
I also like the group piccy of Scooter, Robin and Kermit, but agree that new pics would be great to see.
Chris
Hey UK fans,
DVD Concept is the first UK online store to have this set up for pre-order.
Its £71.99?
Be interesting to see if any others have this up soon, hopefully cheaper?
Chris
According to amazon.co.uk this calendar is now due on October 30th 2008. It appears that it is made by Danilo regardless of country!
Still no images yet?
Chris
Welcome Sammi,
Its always great to hear from new fans, especially in England like myself.
The Replicas are great and I think we are all eagerly awaiting the release of Fozzie.
Where abouts in England are you?
Chris
Somerset
Hi Reevz,
Thanks for the advice, but I already have a Multiregion player, I think I have done since 1999, I got Muppets From Space on DVD region 1 as it was before the UK cinema release I think. I have all the Muppet and Fraggle Region 1 releases, but I also but the region 2 dvd's too, lol...
I totally agree Leanne.
Mine finally came yesterday and the logo is so mucky!
I am so disapointed with these sets.
The Muppet Show was one of the biggest TV shows ever and the effort put into these boxsets is not up to standard.
The art work on the individual cases is the usual...
I think that looks great, It looks like a giant book that holds all 20 discs, two to a page held in by a rock design sleeve.
This picture shows that this set is not simply a box that holds the original 3 seasons, and that this item has been designed and made from scratch.
OK, so the...
