Michael Jackson -- I know, guys; but he is the type of person who would interact very well with the muppets. Plus, he is by all means a "child at heart," which is a giant plus here. And, In the grand SS tradition, he & the muppets could perform a number all about predjudice and how everybody...
A cool idea would be the speedy delivery guy from MISTER ROGERS NEIGHBORHOOD. It would be kinda bittersweet, too, I think, for him to be starring on a muppets television show after Mister Rogers death.
As for other guest stars:
- David Bowie -- If you watched the awesome A&E Live by Request...
I hope to God you end up being correct.
This little game with Eisner has been going on for too long; so, yeah, I guess I'm suspiciously optimistic -- Did that even make sense? :) -- that the muppets will not be joining Mickey & Donald.
Eisner in control of Kermit's destiny; what a scary thought. It would be different if it seemed as if he -- or any other top execs, for that matter -- cared, but he doesn't! I would love it if current Disney dumped all the animated...
I have searched high & low, yet I cannot seem to find a good Jim Henson autograph. I found one, but am very weary as to the authenticity of the item.

(You can see why I'm suspicious)

Eisner has made many mistakes (Mostly out of greed & ego) and the company is now paying for them. I have said for years that his actions (ie egoccentric/seemingly non-sensical purchases)would backfire in the long-term, and now they are
It was obvious to almost everyone but him
OMG, ok here I go:
PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, with Kermit as the Phantom, Miss Piggy as Christine and Animal as Raul.
Part 1: Angel of Music -- Miss Piggy starts singing; the smoke starts covering the mirror; Gonzo appears, singing "I am there inside"; Kermit pushes him out of the way into...
Disney's Muppets.
How wierd does that sound?
Not my first choice. But at least we won't have any cheap Sabean cursed muppet shows aka Ninja Turtles the television series or the horrid new Power Rangers (As if the original isn't bad enough).
Thank god it's over. I just could not imagine those shows without an orchestra. Especially huge spectacles like Miss Saigon and Les Miserables.
Well, I actually can imagine them with no live music, and it ain't pretty
ABC was popular only because of "Millionare"; which, as we all know, wore off just as fast as it debuted. The mistake that ABC made was to put the show on five nights a week. People got sick of it, and so did I. The Bachelor and the Bachlorette fad wore down within a few months.
The sequels...
I'm not anti-Disney. In fact, I love Disney. But Eisner has gained a reputation for being one of the most greedy and ruthless people in business today. I fear the Disney takeover of the muppets. Why? 1) The company has cheated them before and 2) The same reason Pixar wants out of their...
Just signed it.
I am a huge fan of Broadway musicals; and although it does sicken me to know how much money has overwhelmed common sense in NY (Who the **** would pay $50 for a two disc set, when they can get that same cast recording at Tower or amazon.com for $30-$35?), getting rid of live...
Red is hot.
Come on, admit it :D
I don't know if I had a crush on her, but she was one of my favorites.
As for cartoon characters I was attracted to... :excited:
