To be honest, I don't know if I can ever get used to this "new" Big Bird. His voice is just too strange. And if Carroll retires or, God forbid, dies, will Matt take over? I bet there are tons of other voice actors/pupeteers out there who'd be better suited. No offense to Vogel; he just...
Correction: it was during a skit in the middle of SS, not the end. It is very wierd to suddenly hear Big Bird's voice lowered; I wonder if many younger children watching the show notice it much.
Okay ... I am watching the end of SS now, and Big Bird suddenly sounds different!
Did he finally hit puberty or something? :) His voice is obviously lower. Where is Carroll Spinney?
The show is well-written and has a lot of very creative storylines; that is why it's so popular and, for me, great.
I didn't get into BUFFY until UPN purchased the rights & began showing new episodes. Actually, it was my much younger sister who turned me onto the show after UPN got it; and...
Eisner is probably exhibiting the same temper today as he did when DCA opened. On opening day, when the park underperformed (By about 9,000 visitors LOL ), he was reportedly in a very hot-tempered mood; so much so, in fact, that CM's were instructed not to go up to his suite in the new hotel...
God yes! I log on for the first time today and am greeted with this awesome piece of muppety goodness in my e-mail!
I love Brian Henson, and I think the company will only continue to improve from now on.
Now if only the Disney family could re-gain control of the Walt Disney company...
Just finished watching tonight's episode ...very good ... added even more suspense to the upcoming finale (Which I'm sure will be both emotional & awesome!)!
Anybody else here a fan of the show?
God, this makes me wanna go to one of the San Francisco signings even more! Unfortunately, my mom isn't up to the idea of driving up to the City just for a book signing. I am soooooooooooooooo dissapointed (Along with Cookie, Grover, Bert & Ernie, Big Bird is my fav SS muppet)
Since Disney had literally screwed the muppets before, I have to wonder if Sony/SSW feel that they would have a much better chance to further the muppets along (Rather than moving them backward).
I really hope that they beat out Eisner. Henson has a much better chance w/Sony/SW
From TV Guide:
It's been over a month since star-crossed lovers John Crichton and Aeryn Sun met their untimely ends (or did they...?) on the shocking series finale of Sci Fi's Farscape, but Crichton's portrayer, Ben Browder, still receives strong feedback on the cult series' controversial...
JTLUK, I didn't start the SW II petition (Incase you were thinking that :) ). And A while back, Disney was actually toying with the idea of a sequel to SW; they were considering making it. Do the overwhelming amounts of protest help? Who knows? But, one thing is certain: if nothing is done...
Well, look at STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT; look at Section 31; look at 7 of 9's parents; STAR TREK has proven that they can do some awesome things with the timeline. I don't think ENTERPRISE will lose many, if any, viewers if they do an episode with the borg every now and then; that just means...
