This is a blue frog that is possibly famous for being the first Muppet frog with hooded eyes. He's unique in that he's always sitting down and seen in serine and peaceful numbers, first appearing with Mary Louise. Where else did he appear in the show and what did he do?
I was just reading the guide to the Connie Stevens episode and came across the name "Bruce Fox". I think I know who that might be. He appeared in At The Dance doing the "Fox Trot". He had a thin frame, face, brown fur, and beady eyes. Why didn't he appear other times in the show? After that he...
I always wondered why not all of the main muppets, like Gonzo or Fozzie, have legs when you see a pic of them being operated. I mean, you get to see Kermts' legs in to talkspot, Robins' legs and Rizzo's honks(?), so are only certain muppets allowed to have legs attached to them? If so or if the...
Actually, he's a Frackle. I think they just came on that "species" because of his habbit of "changing girlfriends" so much. I'm surprised though that chickens are the only birds he hits on.
I think I saw it. It had a monalouge to the muppet monsters, didn't it? I only remember certain things;
The Crocodile eating a frog
A monster (maybe Gorgon Heap, maybe Big V) eating a Wayne-like muppet talking on the phone
The Piano coming to life and eating Kermit
Did I miss anything?
I always wondered do monsters like Gorgon, Behemoth, LCM and the Crocodile actually eat other characters. All we see in the Sherlock Holmes skit is Gorgon ramming Piggy then Baskerville into his mouth, a shocked reaction from a different character, then a leg slidding down his throat.
Two...
She's a blue female Whatnot who always danced with a Whatnot named Herman (first a green one, then a light gray one with a more noticable nose)(She also danced with Bernie the rabbit). It seems a running gag is the fact that she has a hacksaw voice that "carries" and her often having some...
Which monsters were in the auidience during the talk spot between Kermit and Vincent? Here are the ones I caught;
Blue Scoff
Beautiful Day
a purple monster that looked like Lenny
Gloat (?)
Koozbanian Trumpet Beast
Koozbanian Fish Beast (or whatever you call the one that looks like a furry...
One of my favorite episodes was when Gonzo revealed he had a crush on Piggy. It was funny seeing how obsessive of her as she was of Kermit he'd become, though in a somewhat wimpish way. I think they only refered to it twice more; when he fell in love with the guest star, and in the "Robin Hood"...
Which version of Gonzo was better?
season 1:
He had a down-and-out look to go with his slightly depressed attitude and a sarcastic and quiet tone to his voice when talking about his acts, seeming to secretly thinking they might not be liked or appreciated. He was also whiney, but not...
Now that I think of it, didn't Rizzo and Gaffer appear in the same season? Almost as if these two were meant to be rivals, since when they're both appearing in the goodnights, Gaffer makes like she's going to bite him. It would make a good backstage plot if the show had lasted longer.
Oh...
I think it would have been interesting if the future stars mentioned where they got their starts on TV (whether or not the time setting was close to tv they don't say, since W&S don't think much of it). That's what makes it so believable. After all, most performers have to start somewhere. Am I...
I think in all the time she was on the show, Gaffer only had a "speaking" role in "The Cat Came Back" singing the last part of the verse "Sweet Home" (I think it was a MALE voice), but if course, since she IS supposedly just an alley cat, she might have a gruff voice that doesn't fit her...
I forget, did they say " 'He' didn't wanna roam or 'she' didn't wanna roam in the song "The Cat Came Back"? because Gaffer's a queen isn't she? (a queen is what you call a female cat).
I think in one of the goodnights she tried to bite Rizzo from behind and she was seen in The Muppets go to...
It comprises of Piggy, Geroge, Gladys, Fozzie, Gonzo and Kermit gathered around Rowlf's piano sometimes to sing what to be their favorite songs. They're much better than the Glee Club, if you ask me, since they seem to have a better sense of harmoney than those frogs, chickens, and pigs did...
Uh, technically, muppets can't smile unless their mouths are designed so they can. We can just guess if they're happy or mad by the tone of their voices and physical reactions.
Lenny isn't ANYTHING like Mandy. He appears in "Comedy Tonight", which is meant to be fun. The lizard sings...
Well, it does, but Svengali, the Koozbaninians, the Crocodile and Lenny are "linked" to the monsters, in that each if the creatures they're modled after can count for movie monsters, that's what I was talking about.
All characters who are monsters (or linked to them) go here for discussion.
Such as....
The Crocodile (he sings with the monsters)
Svengali, the magician from the Peter Ustinov episode (he's said to look like a vampire, and a vampire's a monster)
Gonzo (after all, they never wonder what he...
