Lew Zealand...one of the best figs in the entire line!! Scooter ranks a close second behind him for series 3. Then Zoot and finally Rowlf. I actually broke down and bought a Rowlf last week mainy for the piano. he's pretty cool and I look forward ot displaying him with the tux kermit and Jim...
yeah if you're in a really touristy place like Florida, they do that. When I go on vacation I always look at my bill very carefully to make sure I don't tip twice. Personally, I think it's poor form to tack the tip onto the bill. but that's just me.

Correct!
Also with Big Bird (and Bear in the Big Blue House) there is a piece of very strong fishing line that goes from the puppet's left hand up around (actually through) the back of the puppet's neck and down to the other empty hand (known as the 'dead hand') So when Big Bird...
It's not soi much dependabt on the puppet as much as what the puppets has to do. If, for example, a puppetcharacter is required to just stand there and talk as Ernie is doing in that one pic. It's easier for Jim to be able to let his acting guide the hand he is controlling and Richard juts kid...
I'd look into Marlobor colleg in New Hampshire (i think it's in New Hampshire) Eric Bas teaches there and is very good. He also does an intensive summer puppetry program. I don't have the info in front of me right now, but if yoo lok at www.puppeteers.org and check ou the bulleint board there...
Thanks, matt. I'm doing the same. This is REALLY hitting me hareder than I expected it too. I think there's a real good Bloom County cartoon somewhere where Opus ends up turning off the news in favor of the tranquility of Mr. Rogers. if I can find it, I'll try to scan it and post it...
heh. I went up to my mother's today to do laundry and while I was there began flipping through the channels (this was around 10 this morning).....war heating up in Iraq, President Bush meets with foreign leaders, Robert Blake trial, horror, chaos, evil, pain, suffering....a door and some piano...
Farewell, Fred Rogers.
We'll all miss you in the Land of Make-believe.

edit: I've changed my sig line and location for a few days. I was never a big fan, so I was going o try and keep my post...
hmmm...somehow posted twice..just ignore me, editing a bit and moivign on.. OH yeah but before I go, Cory, man, I just....I...I've tried ot let your behabior roll of my back but man, you're starting to bug me a bit. What's going on, man? you're doing things that aren't really funny or...
yeah tell me about it...is it just me or does his hair look vaguely reminiscent of the IGEL beaker's hair. ;) Almost like somebody with good graphic skills somehow sampled it and used it on Pepe.
Hey gang,
I know Jerry's been busy the last few years with his own band when he's not working with Muppets. Does anyone know the name of the band or if they have put out a CD or something? I'd be really interested in hearing his work away from Muppets. If anybody knows anything it would be...
Well, I like Marvin Suggs. I mean he's not a favorite, but he's a great character. I love him in the Brooke Shields episode as the judge (some great interplay between Jim and Frank there) I think the thing is that no matter what Marivn does to the Muppephones, he always gets his comeuppence...
Isn't this the exact same plotline as Garfie;d's first prime time special "Her Comes Garfield" back in the eary 80's? You know that only lasted an hour which was stretched out by mindless musical numbers and commercials so the story only runs about 20 minutes in length. Hope they can make it...
No it was in the US, but it was in one of the episodes that only aired on Disney Channel. Can't for the life of me remember which one.
Bean has always been Steve's character. Richard was known more for doing loud, bombastic characters. Bean woud have been too sweet for him. he played...
no, they're putting Staler and Waldorf in different boxes (like they're doing with Mahna Mahna and the Snowths) My theory on doing Bean asa PVC is that it would be a small (almost to scale representation of the character released before the actual figure which would cut in ot the sales of a...
A few pages back (or maybe in another thread, or maybe on the Palisades board, or maybe the CC newsletter I don't remember) Ken said they weren't making Bean, It's going to be Fozzie instead. He said it was too long and complicated to explain. I'm sure there's a good reason for it though. I...
ok, I've been looking at pepe pics all mornign and i know what bothers me about him. His eyes are too rounds. they need to be a bit more oblong. right now the Palisades Pepe looks scared. Also, the bags under his eyes are too predominant. Pepe does have them but they don't run under his...
