Wow! The variety in this box set is way better than I expected! I think I'll put it on my Xmas wish list after all. :D I only wish I could delete my previous post. I feel like I kicked over a hornets' nest.

I was sorely disappointed in the lack of variety in the first two volumes: Everything brought to you by the number 2! I never thought I'd get tired of the "Two Little Girls and a Dollhouse" sketch. I won't be wishlisting this for Christmas if they do that again.

I'm hungry for more classic episodes from the 70s I haven't seen for years!

Now that Lionsgate claims to own classic SS, does that mean no more classic eps. for release? :(

It's making me CRAZY that no one is cranking out any more Sesame 70s episodes! I bet the power$ that be weren't even BORN when these were big! All they care about is $$$$! :mad:

^^That's why I cancelled my HuluPlus account--that and they won't put up full episodes from the 80s and 90s (excu$e$, excu$e$).

And give us stuff not already on the Old School box sets or iTunes!

I got these tidbits from Antenna TV's Facebook page. It's an infamous example of how and why they crank out excuses not to air vintage SS and other quality classic programming: (TV Fan) how about land of the lost and weekmorning like 70s electric company woody woodpecker reading rainbow and...

I HATE it when.... A cable channel says, "What would YOU like to see?" TV fans reply, "Such-and-such a show I haven't seen in 10 20 30 years!" Some corporate sockpuppet replies, "No, sorry, we don't own the rights. Too cost prohibitive" etc. Then they launch into a complicated spew...
