hmmmm...the 10 best.
IN no particular order....
1) Of Muppets & Men (I'm kinda surprised no one has put this on here yet)
2) Jim Henson: The Works
3) Fisher Price Animal
4) Palisades Figures (but if you want me to narrow it to one, Lew Zealand)
5) Sideshow busts (again if you want me...
You were close. his name is "The Spooble". A muppet geek caught me on this piece of trivia many years ago and now...now I shall never forget it. *sigh* So is life.

From what I understand there's a hole in the bottom of the glass with a tube leading out of it and a spigot on the end of the tube (like the spigot you'd find ona beer keg). When the puppeteer wants to empty the glass, he simply pushes down on the spigot and 'drink' flows down. not sure if...
Statler: I like the Pigs Steel Drums.
Waldorf: Eh?
Statler: The Pigs Steel Drums!!!!!
Waldorf: I'd believe it. they'll take anything that isn't nailed down.

oh don't get me started on those!! you know it surprises me that Henosn didn't get the Frouds more involved on that. Isn't Sideshow actually producing a "World of Froud" line now? based on some of Brian other drawings. What I've seen of those look good, but I imagine Brian is more involved...
It looks liek they've made some changes to the Piggy sculpt. the pic that Jamies posted is bearing a little shoulder. Aerosmith's pic is not. So they've obviously chanegd the hair. it looks like they migh have chanegd the face a bit too, but Aero's pic is a little too far to tell just yet...
yeah, the only one so far, I've REALLY been happy with is Rowlf. Sam, Beau, and Bunsen aren't bad. The others I don't care much for. I'm eager to see a close-up of Dr. Teeth. I 'might' actually get him. I keep thiking of getting Rowlf too. I might still get him too.

Unfortunatly for some daft reason, Sideshow decided not to produce one. even when they first announced the busts last year, we all noticed that Floyd's name was conveniently left off the list. Someone (I think Frogboy or Warrick) e-mailed Sideshow and asked" Wha' ha-ppend????" and Sideshow...
nah, I think the Best award children's program will go to "nick news Special edition: American kikds talk about war" the Academy eats up stuff like that. they love it!! best song....hmmm...I don't know. I'm not familiar enough with the other songs to say. I don't think the Muppets will get...
LOL!! Yes, you're right. Although I was actually thinkign of him when I said "other reliable source". but you're right when it comes to "reliability" and "Muppet news" Warrick is the UBER-source!!
that'sa good rule of thumb, Chris. I find I do the same ting whenever there's 'really cool" Mupopet news. until I hear it from Phil, Danny, or other reliable source, I try not to get too excited.

For those who don't post over at palisades, if you check franknolly's profile, you'll see that he has the AIM handle, "coachmcguirk". To me, that's interesting becasue there is a member over at the Palisades board who goes by the monnikor of 'coachmcguirk", has not filled in any profile info...
I know quite a few people here don't vitit the Palisades forum, but recently ken ran a kindo f unofficial survey over there to see what people wanted in the way of pack-in charaters (like The steel bunny and MAMMA) and just abou everybody said Penguins. Chickens, Rats, and cows were also high...
ok, I just checked Amazon and yes, it is in fact set to come out the same date as ST and JD. Great!!! I think I'll be doing a LOT of shopping that week!
