With all the discussion about new/old Piggy and whatnot, I was wondering if anyone else had seen her new look and what they thought. IMHO I think its not a bad look for her, but I prefer her blonde.
What about you?

I have a few more questions:
1. I know that there was Gladys, but werent there a couple of other Muppet cows that were used? I think there was a black and white one and perhaps one other.
2. Was there a song called "Fuzzy and Blue?" I think it was Grover and someone else singing.
3...
Perhaps I'm mixing things up, but are Fat Blue and Sam the Soundman the same puppet? My fuzzy memory says they look the same, but I could be wrong.
Also, Did they both do 'restaurant' sketches with Grover?
Thanks for your help,
Jason
I just watched "Herbie: Fully Loaded" and was wondering, could Herbie be considered a puppet? (I know some of the effects were CGI, but bear with me.) Animatronics were once considered puppetry so would this be puppetry too, or just a gimmicked car?
I brought this up in a thread a while back, and I got to thinking about it.
I read about the Creature Shop trying to blend CGI and puppetry by using the Henson control system. I think the mosquitoes in MTI were performed like this.
For those that are unfamiliar with it, the Henson control...
In case you haven't figured it out by now, I consider myself a crafty person. I knit, crochet, do basic sewing and am learning quilting. Anyhow, I stumbled across this site in a fit of inspiration. I decided that I was going to make a puppet.
Here's the product of my work: George the cat...
I was watching an episode of "Simply Quilts" the other day and it had a segment about The Muppet Workshop making friendship quilts for people (friends, former employees, etc.) I know that many fans who also quilt have tried to incorporate their favorite characters into the designs. Does anyone...
I was flipping around the channels the other day and I saw what looked like "Blue's Clues" using puppets of Blue and the other characters. I thought she was CGI. Anybody know what's going on?
Am I getting my wires crossed, or was there a sketch where Kermit went to get a custom t-shirt with his name and they kept misspelling it. The misspellings went to other monster and anything muppets like "Kermit the FORG" and "Kermit the GORF." Finally the shop keeper figures it out and says...
Years ago (Mid-70's/early 80's) there were a series of Sesame Street books sold at the grocery store. You paid a certain amount for the first book and the holder and then each week you got the chance to buy 2 new books.
1) Does anyone remember these?
2) In one of these books, there was a...
Ok, this project is getting bigger as I work on it. I've got more questions that have probably been answered before, so please bear with me.
I'm attempting to make a bichon frise puppet. I've got some ideas about shaping the head, but I could use some advice. When I use the "basketball" or...
I'm not talking about the new sets from Palisades. These were made back in the 70's and early 80's by Fisher-Price. They were the "classic" muppet show characters and they each had different features. They had these white sticks you could put in their back and work them like miniature rod...
I am extremely new to puppet making. (I do good to make sock puppets.) I have some construction questions that I know have probably been answered before, but could someone point me in the right direction?
1. I want to make a hand and rod style puppet with a Kermit-shaped head, but with...
