    quick question about cotume puppets

quick question about costume puppets Inside all costume puppets there's a microphone and a portable tv screen for the puppeteer. However, my question is how are the wires from all the equipment hidden from being seen when coming out of the puppet?

    Is Barney a puppet costume?

The FUTURE of puppetry in Television!

to be honest with you, I'm only 18 years old and still in high school, so I don't have the money for big equipment, so I just use a digital camera and a couple of lamps for lighting.

The FUTURE of puppetry in Television!

Well, first, I wrote some questions of what I plan to ask the people being interviewed, and collected some footage of different films to edit into the film. Right now, I'm looking for people to interview.

The FUTURE of puppetry in Television!

It's funny that you bought up documentaries and video editing, becuase not only am I an amatuer pupperteer and muppet fan, but I also do filmmaking. I'm actually in process of planning to film a documentary on "What's the Greatest Film Ever?" IMO as a avid movie fan, it's a debate among film...

The FUTURE of puppetry in Television!

You have a good point, but cartoons are universal and have been popular for a long time, not only with Disney and Warner Bros., but also Hanna Barbara, and MGM. Puppets have had some popularity, but it went beyond that when Jim Henson came around. My point is that no one can duplicate what...

The FUTURE of puppetry in Television!

I agree with you 100% but let's face it, it's not like anybody can just come up with a new group of puppets, like "Cuppets" or "Juppets", becuase everyone will just say, "that's copying Jim Henson." or "That's not original." Everyone will just feel that the person is just living in Jim Henson's...
