Muppets At Walt Disneyworld (1991)
Thats where its from, the actually do go to the swamp, which happens to be situated next to Disneyworld....
If you can get a hold of a copy of this movie, its definatly worth it, i believe it was the last time Jim performed, and featured the famous scene...
'This looks familiar...... vaguely familiar.....', Gonzo, The Muppet Movie, usually gets me.
As for non-movies Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson, and the Fraggle Rock episodes 'River of Life', and 'Change of Address'
I'm willing to tolerate crap and pap merchandising, as long as there's a good movie at the base of it. So does anyone know if, and in what capacity Jerry Juhl's input is now the acquisition, has he written the screenplay for the Wizard of Oz project?
I have the final few UK eps on vid (Gorg who would be King, Honk of Honks, Change of Address) and they featured Simon O' Brian as the lighthouse guy who, as the story goes, was being replaced by a computer controlled system
So what exactly did happen in the early nineties, leading to the suprisingly entertaining 'Muppets at Walt Disney World', did a buyout happen then?, did it fall through?, or was it a distribution thing?
