I'm with Quin...
Gonzo,
I haven't been able to find it either...I don't really care about getting the exclusives, I just want to see the sculpts :(
Could someone help out those who just can't seem to get to the bandwagon in time to jump on? :D
Thanks,
Jim
What's next, a Miss Piggy Diaphram? The Dr. Honeydew Home Pregnancy Test?
Oooookay! This has gone WAY too far! I've been reading this thread for the last couple of days and the subject has gotten way out of hand!
First of all, as Luke said, there is no lingerie...so we can wipe that out...
Yes, Mr. Snuffleupagus' name is Alouiscious....tough to spell, I don't think I did it right!!
Snuffy is just a nickname....on that note, I have a friend whose last name is Hatton; we all call her Hattie just as a nickname. I believe that is the context in which Mr. S. is called Snuffy.
Jim
His name, according to Danny Kaye
On the episode of TMS starring Danny Kaye, who played the Chef's uncle, it is revealed that his family calls him Tom as opposed to a very long and complicated Swedish name.
BUT, I'm sure that it's not official...just a one-time joke!
Jim
Here in lovely east central Indiana, I have found the series at Suncoast, but not TRU or EB...mainly because we don't have an EB nearby, but our TRU definitely does not have them!
Sweetums74: Now to locate Beaker and Tux Kermit....
Speaking of Tux Kermit, has anyone found him yet or...
I agree...I don't think this moved shipping date is that bad because:
A. We will already have the series 1 figures in our hot little hands
and
B. After seeing "mutant" Beaker compard to the new Beaker, I think it will be more than worth the wait!!
Just my opinion...
Jim
ebgames.com
ebgames now has all the figures under the description "usually ships in 24 hrs." which means they should indeed ship today!!
As of my last glance, they haven't changed the first appearance description, but if you click on the product name, the description on the linked page says...
John Ritter was on the show and was rather enamored with Piggy. She, however, only had eyes for George Hamilton.
Tony Clifton (Andy K.) and Piggy sang a medley of songs (I Will Survive, That Old Black Magic, etc.)
The rest of the Muppets, Kermit, Fozzie, Gonzo, Rizzo, Janice, and some...
college students
Chris,
Usually I am against perpetuating the stereotype of "drunk college students", but in this case it's the only acceptable ending to the story!
So, from one college student to another, drink up my friend and good luck getting the figures!!
Jim, the sober college...
Yes, they ship within 24 hours, but I think that the fastest they ship is 2 day air....could be wrong though!
I hope you like the EB Piggy!! I'm expecting mine too!! I can't wait.
Jim
one more thing...
Consider the latest Simpson craze....
I would wager that most of the people who are buying the games, shot glasses, figures, cards, etc. are adults, not kids. Of course, I'm sure that some kids are buying, but not as much as their adult counterparts!
Jim
Maybe I'm Wrong, but...
Actually, Luke, I imagine that adult fans and hardcore collectors are the intended groups.
The nature of the item as a 25th anniversary item denotes that kids aren't really the target and besides, how many of today's kids even know what The Muppet Show is? I'm sure...
Okay, make of this what you want...
ebgames.com has just moved exclusive Piggy's ship date to TODAY!!
If you just look at the website, it still says tomorrow, but if you click on her title, it says it ships today...don't know what to make of this, but I just wanted to let all of you know...
Middle-aged Piggy
I agree...The Muppet Movie is right about the time she starts to look really good!
As for Hollywood Squares and Denny's I think, and this is crazy, that Miss Piggy looks like she's aged a bit! :) She looks a little chunkier -- call it a her middle-aged spread!
Just...
oops!
I forgot the most important part!! Yes, I agree, the screen test was awesome!! Very fresh and funny!
My favorite parts were when Frank or Jim would lose it and get hysterical!! Two brilliant people :)
And, yes, Piggy doesn't look as glamorous as we are used to! I don't think she...
