Ive just now read about this film from 1980 called the Forbiddin Zone it is said to be a fantasy/cult/musical. but I haven't been able to find any fan sites on the movie for better information.. Has anyone here seen it? It sounds interesting....
It would be cool if they made a Dog city movie, I felt the Idea of the Show was good [mobster dogs in the 1940's,gumshoe detective plots] I just didn't like the fact that the storys were animated while the puppets themselves only got shown in between scenes.just think what it may have been like...
When I first saw the Muppets celebrate Jim Henson It was On the disney channel back in 1992 and yes it was good :) but also sad  when it shows different clips while ray charles sings the "It's not easy being green" song....
Lets have a toast, to a great comic, to a great man. may his good sense of humor and witty charm live on........ if anyone else would like to say a few words or more about Mr. Candy please go ahead...... :sympathy:
It was about him playing as a wagon trail guide.....I think he passed away during the filming and was replaced by a stand in ,the film was quickly moved to VHS tape which may have been the reason not too many people know about it....it wasn't his best compared to his past work...
Maleficent was a terrific villian She was cold and cruel, she had magic powers,a pet crow and a group of goblin henchman.now that I think about it,could she have been some how related to the Goblin king?
yep I remember Camp Candy :) Could you imagine if that was a movie, well in a way it was, Think "Uncle Buck" and "The Great Outdoors" combined..... I also remember the last John Candy flick "Wagons East" it made me depressed watching it knowing that it was Candy's last flick before he died :cry...
;) Simpsons Rule!.....I also like the old cartoons,Flintstones, Looney Toons....Since were talking about cartoons Disney has just release Sleeping Beauty on dvd. In my mind this film is one of Disney's best,I liked the dragon when I was younger, still do. ;)
Yeah, it was pretty funny, If you liked this one I recommend the movie "summer rental" or "Trains Planes And automobiles". I have always Enjoyed the films by John candy and some of the other comic actors of that time.Steve Martian,Chevy Chase,Bill Maury....Alot of older comics are just as funny...
I recently saw an old John Candy movie titled "Delirious". It was quite funny, thanks to the comic ability of the legendary John Candy, the movie was about a soap opera writer who gets in an accident and wakes up in the t.v. soap world that he created. I found the idea of Candy's character using...
:( that is a shocker, I had no Idea he was ill, I remember him from the film "History Of the World Part 1" he also played in the film Wolfen.....later on he did some time on Will And Grace..........It seems like many great people of the 20th century have pass on....Bob Hope, Fred...
Does anybody ever wake up in the morning and feel like the world is a
