We had a thread going a few weeks ago about people who have 12 inch figures made of them that have also been on the Muppet Show. I think we had it up to about a dozen names.
I have a couple of guesses what the suprise is, but I'll wait until my package arrives to see if I'm right.
(getting up and going to front step to wait for the mailman)
My brother-in-law is looking for anything of the "Yip Yip" martians from Sesame Street. His wife just loves them and he wants to get her somthing for her birthday.
Does anything exist? Videos, toys, anything?
YES!!!!!
Muppet Labs have finally arrived at TRU in Nebraska. They had 4 (had being the key word here, they now have 3)
Way cool set. Love the working switches.
That's the part I don't remember. What the music was. I'm sure it was some simple little tune. I just have very strong memory of hearing that music from my bedroom. Running full steam for the living room. When I got to there I would drop to my stomach and slid accross the floor, stopping in...
Thanks, it's Rowlf from when he was on the Jimmy Dean Show. I chose that image because not only do I remeber watching him back then, it was the only reason I watched Jimmy Dean. I could be anywhere in the house and when Rowlf's theme music started I would be in front of the TV in 2 seconds or less!
Re: Luke + Phil,
We had something like that in the U.S. It only had Kermit and Fozzie. I still have the molds around here somewhere.
I gotta inventory my Muppet stuff someday. I keep forgetting all the stuff I have.
I bought the Kermit figure back then. Painted and out it on the dashboard of my car. Friend of mine use to refer to it as St. Kermit. It has been on the dashboard of every car I have owned since then. Each time I get a new car, Kermit gets a new paint job. Last time I had to buy paint remover...
I may have a variant mis-colored Kermit. He looks really dark green. I ordered it from EB. The one in the store look a little bit lighter in color. I may head out and buy another one just to put them side by side and see if it really is darker or if it's just the lighting in my house.
Still looking
I've been going out every Saturday, trying to find some place in town that has gotten Muppet Labs in. No luck so far.
While in a TRU today, I actually had an emplyee ask me if I needed help! When I asked for the Muppet action figures, they gave the standard responce. "Over in...
4 - 6 weeks..
Ok, must have missed that part as a read the form, was just looking for the price and address.
4 - 6 weeks...
That's good, I can do this, I can wait
4 - 6 weeks....
sure, makes sense, you just moved, had to put in the special order for more figures.
4 - 6 weeks...
I ordered my figures from EBgames and they only charged me one shipping charge of 4.99 for all 4 figures. I was originally only going to order the exclusive Piggy figure. But on a whim I add another figure and the shipping charge did not go up, so I orered them all. for reason I never did...
I just had a though about the invisable Fozzie. On the current version, his hat stays on with a magnet. What are you going to do with the invisable one? Glue the hat on or will we see the magnet inside Fozzie's head?
Just wondering....
I never look at auctions that don't have a picture. I've seen to many people post wrong information about their item, some times intentional, some times not. How many times have you seen an Ebay listing for "a green furry muppet" only to find the picture is one of those cheap handpuppets (you...
