Yay, another late Fraggle Rock-er! I watched the show on the Disney Channel when I was little and only remember a few episodes from then-the Begoony episode being one of them. When the show was released on DVD, I got every season for Christmas from my parents, who never questioned it. I also got...
"Bring Back the Wonder" usually gets me, because it reminds me of how I thought the world was so magical when I was little, and as I've gotten older, I've found that that perception hasn't always matched up. Sometimes in dark ways.
Also, Red needs a good hug during that song.
The Great Santa Claus Switch is vastly underrated. I hope that the youtube poster who shared those videos never pulls them down, since they're pretty much the only way to see the special. It's cute, but not annoying, and I love seeing Gonzo before he became Gonzo.
Not counting what I've seen on youtube, the episodes I remember best are:
1)where the babies decide to act out Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope (Woo-chacca the Cookie, anyone?)
2)the babies visiting the library. I remember the part where they turn into mice the most...which is funny seeing as...
As much fun as it would be to have a Labyrinth sequel, two questions:
1)is there really a need for one?
2)what would the story be? (please not Return to Labyrinth...I couldn't stand Toby and how he never grew as a character)
Y'know, given the trend of movie musicals being turned into stage musicals on Broadway, it's a wonder no one's had a go at adapting Labyrinth. I mean, if we can get Spider Man: Turn Off the Dark, Labyrinth ought to be do-able.
The Muppet Wiki doesn't list it, but there was also a set of Baby Miss Piggy paper dolls available. I had them when I was a kid, and they featured several punch-out outfits, plus several you could color for yourself and cut out with scissors. I also had the second version of the Muppet Babies...
