I'm with you on this one. :D Strangely enough, Fraggle Rock is the show where no couples work for me at all. In romantic way, at least. Friends duos are awesome there, but I guess that's a different subject.:coy:
Well, he changed his job in Wembley's Wonderful Whoopie Water too, didn't he? He poured water/did plumbing/did whatever Granny Fraggle told him to.
Oh, and I thought of a quote I really love:
"Don't you realize that when you laugh, germs can get right in your mouth?" - Boober, Boober's Dream
Me too! I'm afraid if I were friends with Boober, he'd say that to me.:sigh:
Yep, that was hilarious! I also like this song for Gobo and Wembley's attitude towards the soup, like "oh well, the soup is bad, let's sing and dance along with Boober about it". I wish my brother did that instead of...
Hey, can I join in? :excited:
A while ago I decided to make a sketch for every Fraggle Rock episode I translated subs for. Sadly, that's the best I can draw. :sigh: That's what I've done so far:
The Great Bell - it was drawn just because of Christmas.
There Was a Dragon - from Red's Blue...
I'm glad you like these songs too! I noticed that many people choose different songs as their favorites. I guess Fraggle Rock just had songs for any taste.:smirk:
Thanks for compimenting on my avatar! What's wrong with Merple Merggle, though? I liked her. :)
Well, let's see... there's something I can think of right now:
Marjory: And I know what this fraggle has!
Gunge: Of course you do!
Philo: You're all-knowing!
Marjory: I know that!
~Beginnings
"It's hopeless. Let's go get some lunch!" - Felix the Fearless, Marooned
"Wembley, I found you in...
Here's my list:
Children of Tomorrow
Dream a Dream - I love the lyrics here.
Just a Dream Away - A beautiful wistful song.
Petals of The Rose
Keep On Smiling - This song can cheer up everyone (except Mokey).
Only Way Home - I don't know why I like it. Because it's so full of energy, I guess...
My choice is Wembley. And not just because he's funny (though he is), but because he has such a sweet personality. The fact he's afraid to hurt anyone's feelings makes him understand others' feelings better than they do. And he sometimes was able to bring out the absurdity of a situation...
Thanks for the welcome, everyone!:p
Actually, Fraggle Rock has been dubbed recently. A year ago I joined the fan team that translated Fraggle Rock subtitles, and when we started the last season, official dub came out. It's not that great, but it's okay. So it would be awesome if someone...
Hello everyone! My name is Ann, I'm 20 and I'm from Russia. As a kid, I watched Ulitsa Sezam (Russian version of Sesame Street), but I really got into Muppets only recently, when I watched The Muppet Show, Muppet movies and Fraggle Rock.
I never was into puppetry myself (my raccoon hand puppet...
