    Making Female Body - Mature

I hope you're able to get the effect you're looking for, puppetise. I'd love to see pictures when you've got something to show.

    Making Female Body - Mature

My breast pattern is for reasonable sized breasts, I guess. For super-crazy-large breasts, I suppose you could use foam balls, and just wrap fabric over them. I just made an album to show how I built my female puppet: http://bubbleshare.com/myalbum/31625.ea8514d9a97/767703/thumbnails I took...

    Making Female Body - Mature

When I made a woman puppet recently, I modelled the breasts (which was somewhat surreal, as I'm friends with the person the puppet is based on). I used a project puppet pattern for the puppet (a rotondo, I think). For the breasts, I cut a piece of foam that was like a four-leaf clover, but with...

    dotBoom : sets nearly done!

Thanks, ChinoXL! It'll be a web industry office-place sitcom. There will be a fair bit of adult humour, yes. :) I don't yet have the show's site up, but hope to have it soon.

    dotBoom : sets nearly done!

Hey all, I've got the sets for the first episode of dotBoom completed. I still need to figure out the lighting, but the construction is finished. Check it out! http://bubbleshare.com/myalbum/25487/742367 http://bubbleshare.com/myalbum/25487/742365 http://bubbleshare.com/myalbum/25487/742366...

    dotBoom -- Puppetshow progress

Thanks! The eyes are all ping-pong balls, with the pupils drawn in. I haven't gotten very fancy with the designs of the pupils, yet. I've also just done the 'Brian' puppet, which is the Project Puppet sock puppet, with some clothes. It worked out pretty well, I think...

    dotBoom -- Puppetshow progress

Thanks, Dwo! That's really nice of you to say. Do you know where any photos of the puppet you're referring to is? I've never seen the french Sesame Street.

    The Glorified Sock Puppet Pattern

Just to clarify, is it one submission per person?

    dotBoom -- Puppetshow progress

Hey all, Yesterday I built the body for the "Jason" puppet for my nascent puppet show. He's a departure from the previous ones I've made, as he's one like Bert, where you put your hand in a glove that becomes his hand. I'm sure there's a proper name for that type of puppet, but it escapes me...

    Newly completed ferret puppet

That looks great, Sean. In addition to the puppet itself looking quite slick, the suit you made for him is really great!

    I just Paid for ...

I've got the Rotondo and the Punto, and I love them. They're really tremendous patterns. Project puppet rocks!

    The Glorified Sock Puppet Pattern

That's cool about the mouthplate, and you're definitely right about the prizing. The great thing about the sock puppet pattern is that it's quick to assemble the basics. You get a great sense of accomplishment in a very short time.

    The Glorified Sock Puppet Pattern

Sounds pretty good -- and quite generous! One question I have, which is something of a nitpick, is about the body. Does it have to follow the body exactly? The one thing I didn't like about the pattern is that if you use posterboard for the mouth, you get a restricted range of facial gestures. I...

    In search of Kitchener/Waterloo puppeteers.

Hey all, I was wondering if there's anyone out there who's in the K-W area, or near to it, that might be available to help with my puppet show. It'll be filmed and put online, as a sort of tv show without a tv. It's a web industry-based sitcom, with lots of cursing. It'll be called dotboom...
