Thanks! The eyes are all ping-pong balls, with the pupils drawn in. I haven't gotten very fancy with the designs of the pupils, yet. I've also just done the 'Brian' puppet, which is the Project Puppet sock puppet, with some clothes. It worked out pretty well, I think...

That's cool about the mouthplate, and you're definitely right about the prizing. The great thing about the sock puppet pattern is that it's quick to assemble the basics. You get a great sense of accomplishment in a very short time.
