In Wonder Mountain, Gobo, Wembley, and Boober plant-sit Mokey's plant Lanford. They're all trying to get him to eat and he won't. They turn around for just a second and Lanford has eaten Boober's laundry soap or something (I don't quite remember what it is). He starts breathing bubbles and...
It is windy and stormy in that episode. It has its good moments about it and parts of it are funny, but I would rank it at #96. I think #95 would be the one where Pa Gorg makes Junior move the trash heap. What's the name of that one, again?
I'm gonna liven up an old discussion and say that "Wonder Mountain" gave me nightmares when I was little. I was petrified of the Avalanche Monster but it wasn't only that. It was the entire episode that really freaked me out. The eerie instrumental was scary. Red being hypnotized by the...
My least favorite episode is definitely "Battle Of Leaking Roof" (that's the one where Pa Gorg is afraid of heights). I'm like you, Foodie, I still like it but it was just kind of boring. I'm not too crazy about the episodes that revolved mainly around the gorgs and didn't have a lot to do...
If anyone would like to sell me a copy of "Wembley and the Mean Genie" I will pay just about anything! I've looked for it all over and I know it's on ebay but these were made in the U.K. and won't play on my VCR. I wouldn't care if it's just a recording from HBO or TNT. I would trade with...
There are so many emotional episodes of Fraggle Rock and, in my opinion, these are the best ones. Which ones made you tear up? Was there ever an episode that made you plain out bawl like I did when I watched "Change of Address" and "Gone But Not Forgotten"?
Great summary, Boober Gorg! Anyone who hasn't seen this episode should really try to watch it. I think that this one has a lot of deep meaning behind it - and the music is just the best! Sister and Brother (We're All Part of Each Other) is one of my favorite fraggle songs of all time. It's...
Gobo's appearance changed after "The Finger of Light" episode. I'm not sure which episode came after that one, though. I'm really glad that he was changed. It seems like his personality changed along with his appearance, doesn't it? In the first episodes with his cardigan and crazy hair it...
Thanks for the help! - I hadn't found those two yet. Unfortunately, I don't think that either one of those will play on my machine since they were released in the UK. I'm looking into it, though. Thanks, again!
My favorite Doc moment was in "Don't Cry Over Spilt Milk". The one where he tries to come up with a name for the party whatchamacollit horn. He ends up inventing a big organ type thing full of them, if I'm not mistaken. He really cracked me up in this episode when he blew the horn at Sprocket...
Here are my opinions...
Best song - "You Can Count on Me" in "A Friend In Need" episode
Wisest character - Trash Heap (of course)
Best Bad Guy - Wembley's mean genie
Best Male Singer - Wembley singing "Free and High" in "Wembley's Flight" episode, then Gobo
Best Female Singer -...
He really scared me too, but that's what I love about the episode! I always loved the Fraggle Rock episodes that scared me, for some reason. I was just fascinated with them. Another one that scared me was "Wonder Mountain". The avalanche monster really got to me, but it was always one of my...
I never was a big Oscar the Grouch fan. I can't believe I'm saying that, but out of every muppet that doesn't already star in their own movie, he's the only one I wouldn't really want to watch.
Does anyone have the episode "Wembley and the Mean Genie" for sale, or know where I can find it? This was always one of my favorite episodes and I would love to see it again. I've looked all over for it on ebay but can't find it anywhere!
