Everyone's got to start somewhere, and Kermit the Frog is no exception to the rule! Here's some of my favorite Kermit moments on Sesame Street!
Kermit tries to explain rectangles, but his rectangle gets destroyed by Cookie Monster.
Kermit takes applications for the Big Bad Wolf. First he...
During a skit about different shapes, there WAS a Muppet who sounded an awful lot like Sam the Eagle (Frank Oz voiced him) and had he been a tall blue Anything Muppet instead of a tall orange one, he would have looked like him too. (It was a tall orange Anything Muppet with a rather large nose.)...
Or how about a few more!

I remember that song! Also a classic: Maria, Bob, Luis and David singing (and playing) "Three Whipped Cream Pies On The Wall" in classy attire. Maria would hit each one with a pie until the end, where she's hit with a whole mess of cream pies.

STATLER: So everybody's boppin', huh, Waldorf?
WALDORF: I don't know about you, but the only boppin' I want to...
I wasn't born yet when Matt Robinson played Gordon, but I have seen him on Noggin reruns and he was VERY cool. I wonder if Sesame Street will do something to remember him. It's only fair, seeing as how he *was* a member of the original cast. He was probably also responsible for Dr. Cosby's long...
If anyone has seen "The Letter People" TV show (60 episodes, 15 minutes each, I have them!), it *was* a puppet show, with many Muppeteering aspects in them. Several of the Letter People were live-hands (and in Mr. F's case, live-feet) puppets, but most of them were hand-and-rod. And I was quick...
Funny thing about Bob and Linda...they are/were often seen as a couple (in fact, I saw the two of them on the Street together last week in an episode revolving around Grover and a haywire popcorn maker), yet in the show's early episodes, one can clearly see Bob is wearing his wedding band.
One of my all-time favorites has to be Maria, natch. Although I wish I'd see more humans than her on "Sesame Street" nowadays. I just remember when I had Noggin and...well, she was (and still is) gorgeous!
Of course, I must give honor and respect to David and Mr. Hooper. I'm glad they didn't...
Here are some of them!
The first time Big Bird meets Snuffleupagus, mainly because it's interesting to see how far the Snuffy puppet has come since his debut on the Street. And I still like Jerry's Snuffy a bit better than Martin's.
Big Bird going to school for the first time, and trying...
How about...

I have! One of my teachers in high school reminded me sooooo much of Marjory the Trash Heap from "Fraggle Rock"...(if she's reading this, I mean it as a compliment, Marjory was one of the best things on that show)! She was very wise (working on a doctorate) and somewhat otherworldly, and was of...
SPECIAL GUEST STAR: ALAN JACKSON
OPENING THEME
OPENING NUMBER: The Electric Mayhem play an unplugged version of "Let Me Be Your Song" from "Fraggle Rock" with Floyd taking the lead and Janice on harmony vocals.
STATLER: Have you ever wanted to go down to Fraggle Rock?
WALDORF: If it's...
Rowlf did appear once after the "Sesame Street" promo, in one of the counting segments. His line? "NINE LIGHTS!".
Kermit, Rowlf, and the Mahna Mahna-type character (Bip Bippadotta) are the only crossover characters I know of that have appeared on the Street, although once during a Muppet...
Ah, it's all in the interest of driving Kermit nuts. And if Kermit hardly had the patience for Grover all those years, imagine how much he'd have for Elmo!
