Yes! Five per series would have been quite smart of them. But which 5??? I brought it up in another thread. Floyd was a given. How did they miss that? Strange Pork. Pops. Newsman. And I think it was you that mentioned Marvin wasn't it? That's five right there. Leaving out characters...
I tried, TRIED to just pick a few that I liked. But they all looked so good. And yeah it is an incredible mark down. And although it felt like an impulse buy, I'm glad I waited a couple of days before I started buying them. The first guy I was talking to was wanting to give me a deal of...
Forgive my ignorance...so that's just a radio station??? No control over what songs are playing right? It's cool that it can be heard. But what makes that little skit (and every skit for that matter) so great is the way they make these guys just come to life. Watching animal's panting, and...
There's a St. Patrick's Day episode (I think) that has Beaker, Chef, and Animal singing Danny Boy. Which episode was this? Who was the guest star? Is it available on DVD?
I have yet to get my DVD set. So I have been d/l any muppet show vids I can find. I came across this one. And ****...
What did you pay? The cheapest ones I picked up (12 of them) was $19.99 US (excluding postage, duty, and taxes...still don't know what that will total to). Highest I paid was $39.99. Pricey. But it was for 5 of what I found to be the hardest (impossible) to find. Gonzo, Beaker, Bunsen...
Yeah. I'm still undecided. I "invested" in the entire collection. Still waiting on my bust to arrive (from 3 different suppliers). But when they get here...it's going to be a tough decision. I don't ever see myself wanting to sell them. They seem to look pretty cool in the box, but as you...
Dude...relax. It was a thought...a passing comment. Merely a suggestion. As I already said, I don't own any of these figures. But I can understand why folks would like to show them off. I can't quite understand why this site wouldn't allow that but whatever.
Simmer down now Wiggy. It was merely a suggestion. Why would they??? They seem to be a company that listens to the fans and somewhat caters to them. At least that's the impression I have got from this board.
There should be. Or at least have a section on the site where people can show off what they have. Maybe Palisades would be interested in offering some space???
So they just randomly put someone's name on the back of the package??? That person doesn't need to "earn" it???
Speaking of which...how long is this series running for??? Any idea??? I haven't picked up any...went for the more pricey (sp???) bust collection instead...not sure where I'm...
120 episodes. WOW. That sucks. Now I don't know if I should pick up the 15 disc set...or wait and see if another run of these will be coming out that is more complete. Truly one of the most disappointing things about collecting DVD's. There's always a possibility that they'll release the...
Thanks for the response. 20 dvd's??? Wow...how many episodes were there??? I was just a kid back then (7 yo) so those would be details that would have escaped me.
Well for starters I was unaware that there was 15!!! of these released. My local Wal-mart only ever recieved 5. My question is this. I noticed on ebay there are people that are selling 10 disc sets and some selling 15 disc sets. Any difference in these sets???
Thanks for the response.
