Every Monday morning at 10 am central time, Threadless puts upwards of 7 new shirts up for sale on their website. Thats every week, and each one of the people responsible for designing those shirts is $2,000 richer. Each Thursday, at the same time of day, the release at least 5 or more reprinted...
I would think standard Threadless printing rules apply if they choose your selection. I have looked into designing for them and I believe the basic agreement is $2000 cash and a $500 Threadless gift certificate if your design is chosen to be put into print. You also get $500 if the shirt is...
No I will not be buying the shirt.
Im disappointed w/ Threadless, but I already own 15 tees from them, and really like if not love them all. I will continue to vote and buy more, but my initial thought of buying 2 of the winning Muppet design is over and done with.
:o I was hoping that the Green Album promo link would have been wrong, but I found out yesterday that it wasn't...:concern:
I get emails from Threadless advertising new shirts, reprints, and the like and they sent one out yesterday officially announcing the rainbow stripe design won out of...
:grr: James you were robbed! This is a bad decision for Threadless. Having been a long time shopper of Threadless, both online and their stores in Chicago, I doubt it will sell and highly doubt it will get a reprint...
I'm a Muppet fan since infancy, and I don't plan on getting it...
My 2...
Has anyone checked out the designs lately? They put the numbers back up!
frogboy's design got a 3.80 - 1722 Total Votes with 943 5's
The "infamous" rainbow design got a 3.70 - 2049 Total Votes with 1131 5's & 482 1's
Very interesting now, to see the breakdown...
:)LOL too funny! I mean before the cheating comments, that design had maybe 20 comments, where frogboy's had over 60!
I've been a fan of Threadless and their products for over a year now, I hope they do the right thing in this contest!
I am a reader and follower of toughpigs.com and I just noticed something. They never officially scored frogboy's design. They just seemed to have added it onto the end of their part 3 review. Just before the weekend they reviewed and scored the rainbow design... It is also the header of their...
I hope it's yours too! You deserve the win and all the prizes and accolades! (In my humble opinion, that is.:halo:)
I just can't see buying that rainbow design...
I'm pulling for Frogboy's design. I saw it come up on its first day for voting and gave up on the design I was working on bc I knew I would rather wear that one instead of mine! LOL
BUT, I still think a lot of these designs would make great shirts! Especially the shirts sitting in 2nd-5th right...
Does anyone who has entered know if Threadless owns the submissions once they're put on their website? If they don't, I think contestants should be able to submit their designs to redbubble.com.
I know the shirts submitted to teefury.com end up there once their 24 hour sales day has concluded...
The packaging of these reminds me of the Kermit & Piggy dolls that were released at Walmart a few years back... I'm wondering if that is where these will be sold?
Sheepishly I will admit I've paid that for 13" of porcelain (i.e. Walt Disney Classic Collection pieces). I might actually consider saving up for Fozzie, it seems like a great likeness!
Miss Piggy Pook-a-Looz!
FAO's website finally put up a pic!
http://www.fao.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4309586
I will be getting mine in 24 hours, and if I can figure how to post a picture here, I will!
Until then, it looks like one has popped on eBay...
