I'm surprised that we didn't get to see a tie-in video game. Disney loves to release games to tie in with movies, although the quality of these games is disputable. Still, a psn/xbox live remake/port of RaceMania with online functionality would be pretty swell.
I'd like to see interviews with the Muppeteers opposed to interviews with the Muppets and/or the human cast. DVD/BluRay games don't interest me since they take up valuable space and are generally pretty boring. The last one I played was the wild mine cart ride on the Snow White BD though.
I went to NY specifically so I didn't have to wait for februari to see the new Muppets flick. (and the Jim Henson exhibition at the MOTMI) I loved it and wanted to buy a lot of merchandise so we headed to Times Square and visited the gigantic Toys'R Us...couldn't find any merchandise. The...
I like Teeth too and Baretta does a spot on performance since he took over the role. It's really hard to hear the difference between his Teeth and Henson's.
They did a commentary track on the Bohemian Rhapsody but that was more comedy than insightful. If they do one on the movies I hope it's a <i>bit</i> more serious.
Then you should buy the Music, Mayhem and More album. It contains a lot of Muppet show and Muppet movie songs.
I really like the fact that they covered songs in alternative ways like I'm going to back there someday. It makes the covers stand on their own.
I always feel a bit sad and uncomfortable when I watch the bit where Kermit and the the gang sing Just One Person with I think Bernadette Peters since at least for me, the song later became synonymous with Jim Henson's memorial services.
I was expecting the barbershop bit to be a sketch, not a song (awesome cover btw)
I was also expecting some classic sketch to be performed during the telethon but I can see why they didnt. (pacing)
