Well, I can't say for sure but I asked the folks over at Puppets And Stuff, (they do puppets, don'tcha know) and this is what they have come up with so far.

Hmm, Uncle Matt is mistaken for a doll at one point so the theory has weight to it.
Another, possibly more extreme and unlikely theory is that as Matt has been globe trotting he has been jostled around by so many Silly Creatures that his existence has entered into a kind of collective...
You know, Boober doesn't just wear his hat and scarf, he wears socks too. you never see him wearing them but he does mention it in 'Mokey and the Minstrels'. He says something along the lines of:
"I heard a skwud once, it turned out I had just stepped in a puddle...The skwud I heard was wet...
It's odd as well that the one that they have a pic of says 'animated' series, the cover is of the animated version but the episodes are from the puppet series, the same ones that are on the US dvd.
I know that some people class puppets as animation but you'd have thought that the cover...
I agree, I have the three US dvds, the UK dble set and the European 3disc set, I have most of season one spread across them but I'm still buying to encourage continued production of the box sets.
I just hope it sends out a message to Columbia Tristar (released UK set) or Hit to start...
You know that's not very fair. I'm a huge FR fan but I haven't seen them all becasue I simply haven't had the chance. They haven't aired FR in the UK since the eighties as far as I know and I haven't managed to track down copies of the episodes I don't have. Doesn't mean I can't love the show...
