Sculpey is the best! Ive got this really cool blue sparkle one. Great puppy puppet! The toungue is crazy.

Sandpaper is the way forward. Cut with a scalpel. Scalpels have sharper blades than an exacto knife would have. Then use heavy grit sandpaper to get the ping pong balls to the right size, then fine grit to get them nice and smooth. Sandpaper is also key to getting the dunlop logo off the balls...

It's also easy for people to be mean on the internet. It really sucks to have your work be attacked, but I guess there is no way of avoiding it. Retaliation is good for a few minutes if you want something instant to make you feel better. You won and your puppets are fantastic.

In the second photograph, it looks like the torsos are a mix between wedges and tube type of torsos with a frame inside.
