The two "sketches" could have been a lot more Muppet centered, rather than existing only for the sake of having a celeb in the episode. Like having Vets Hospital or Pigs in Space rather than a "Rupaul" sketch.
Overall, a very disappointing episode. I like looking back at episodes like "Going, Going, Gonzo" and think to myself, "Where did something go wrong?". They focus too much on human guest stars than the namesake of the show, The Muppets. Ugh, even though there were a few good jokes, the negatives...

Alright, some new spoilers.
•The photo seems to show Kermit and Piggy playing Laser tag
•Marvin Suggs and the muppaphones will be back
•So will Link Hogthrob, Strangepork, and Mahna Mahna
•Gloria Estefan seems to be a permanent...
For Robin to come back is one thing, but to have a plot in an episode? Man, that is awesome! Sounds like this will be an episode full of obscure Muppets from the past, as they are "auditioning" for a new wingman to replace Gonzo...this sounds promising.
It started off a bit slow for my liking, and I had doubts for the rest of the episode, but the second half is pure muppet-gold. Animal really stole the show tonight (I like when he is used in smaller amounts, but still brilliant). I was happy to see Camilla make an appearance, even though it was...
Uggh, I kind of dislike them making Pache a recurring character. I was fine with the one time appearance, but they are just taking away from the muppet time by adding unneeded actors. Thumbs down from me :/ Also, today, they wrapped shooting for Season 1 (confirmed by Matt Vogel)
Off topic, as I don't know where else to post it. Today is national friends day, and Kermit posted one of the customized videos Facebook makes for you...there was just one thing I noticed...
Did they freaking rename Janice??? Or rather respelled...
Gloria Estefan was the highlight of this episode. I am not sure if anyone noticed this, but there was a ridiculous amount of product placement on tonights episode. Usually, they are subtle, like Kermit using a Macbook, but tonight, they were legitimately mentioning Dominoes, Pizza Hut, Chuck E...
It looks like "Alinda's" foam has deteriorated over the years. Not the most...attractive puppet...
Now THAT, I can't wait to see. I am assuming it will be obvious which scene it is.
Correct! Here is what we have gathered...
-The show will have “More heart, more zaniness.”
-There will be more sketches, done in a modern late-night show style. Newman specifically mentions “an updated Veterinarian’s Hospital” and “an updated Swedish Chef where Bunsen is helping him do...
Alright...
- It is easier to CGI in water than have puppeteers submerged with an actor...
- Zoot is always the oblivious one in this serious, so it is only appropriate that he is doing that
- The puppets always have arm rods, they are just replaced later in post.
