ah decisions, decisions...
I love Robin, the Two-Headed Monster, Lewis Kazagger, Herry Monster, Pops, Crazy Harry and especially Emmet Otter, but my most favorite? It's the Count, fer sure!
I agree there too!
I am a devoted fan of Neil Gaiman with the exception of Coraline. I didn't enjoy that one in the slightest.
The aesthetics of this film were top-notch. I thought it had complexity intertwined seamlessly with its flawless beauty.
Ditto. I absolutley loved it. I bought it the first chance I had. Admittedly I don't watch it repeatedly like I do with most Henson works (it's deeper and heavier than I like to go that often), but it's fabulous. It's a must-see if you haven't yet.
I didn't realize our favorite little fraggles have been around so long! Wow, that makes me feel old!
I'm right there with you, Frogboy - I'm hoping for the movie within 3 years. We've been waiting so long to see that "little patch of happiness" in a movie...
The impact, relevance, and joy...
I've been re-watching Season One (I need to invest in the other seasons yet), and there are a couple episodes that come to mind when trying to pick a favorite. Both from season one, I love "I Don't Care" and "The Minstrels". The process of re-discovering these episodes is awesome!
I can't...
My favorites are: Bert, Kermit, Waldorf and Statler, Rizzo, Gonzo, Fozzie, the Count and Bunsen. I can't help but to smile everytime I hear one of them... I usually start laughing too.
But the best one? My super most very favorit-est one ever? Why it's Ernie, of course.
This IS awesome! How exciting! I have missed Lips so. I don't mind if he never says a word as long as he keeps blowing that trumpet like the star he is!
Picking just one episode is a most difficult task! I currently own seasons 1-3, and I would have to say the Madeline Kahn episode really stands out for me with it's reporters blowing up and all. Also nearing the top of my list are the episodes with Vincent Price (I love him and the Muppets, so...
What is your favortie Sesame Street time period? I'm going with the decade of the 80s. That's when I watched the most.
Who is your favorite monster? They are Grover, the Two-headed Monster, Herry and the Honkers.
What are your favorite SS songs? "I Don't Want to Live On the Moon", "Rubber...
This is truly another horrible loss. Art Clokey was overflowing with creativity, had an immense amount of talent, and made millions of people smile with his work. He will be sadly missed.
I bought Sesame Street: 40 Years of Sunny Daystwo days ago. :wisdom: I've laughed, I've cried, and I've tried to give myself little morsels of it at a time - as much as I just want to watch the whole thing NOW, I want to try to savor it more.
It has been SO long since I've seen my favorite, the memory is a little fuzzy, but I loved the animated sketch for the letter F that takes place in a science lab with the punchline "Fred, you've been standing on my foot since Friday." My mom and I still say that to each other now and then.
I never really liked Myspace, but I have gotten really into Facebook. I actually find it to be more user friendly, and I have found far more of my friends already on there than I ever did on Myspace as it has grown in popularity. I've made more connections, I love the tight security options, and...
Tomorrow is my husband's birthday. I'm not sure what to do for him! He already got all of his presents. I have to come up with something good...
